The ice cream here is clearly made with quality ingredients, no artificial taste. You can tell the difference in the texture and flavor. A bit pricey for a single scoop, but you get what you pay for.

Service here was really nice. The staff was pleasant and professional, handled our big table without any fuss. Attentive but not hovering, patient with all our questions. Made the evening relaxed.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. The wood-paneled walls and wine racks give it a cozy tavern feel. Got a sandwich and soup, service was fast. Perfect for a quick bite between meetings.

Lovely spot right by the towers in the old town. A proper, cozy bar with a nice buzz—not too packed. Just what I needed after a long day of walking around La Rochelle.

The portions here are very generous, especially for the price. It's a calm spot, perfect for a relaxed meal. I really appreciated how comfortable the chairs were, made it easy to just sit back and enjoy.

Carbonara was spot on. Staff were efficient, place is convenient for a quick business lunch. Good spot if you're in the area.

The owner is so friendly, and the ingredients in the salad felt incredibly fresh. A nice spot for a healthy lunch.

The fish and chips here are what I come for. The batter is light and crisp, the fish inside is just cooked through and flaky. The chips are proper thick-cut and golden. It's a simple dish done right.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Food arrives quick, staff keeps an eye on your table without hovering. It's just reliable.

The tagliatelle carbonara was a huge portion, honestly more than I could finish. The space itself is simple and straightforward, which I liked. It felt comfortable, not trying to be anything it's not.

The galettes were the star. Perfectly crisp edges, generous filling. My only quibble? They arrived a touch too quickly, felt a bit rushed. Still, a solid choice.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it really made the visit pleasant.

Had a quick lunch here. The staff were friendly, and the place felt genuinely Italian. My pasta was cooked just right, not too soft. Good for a reliable bite in the area.

The salted caramel ice cream here is really good. Creamy texture, just the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness. Perfect for a warm afternoon.

Simple spot, quick and friendly. Had the chicken sandwich. Good portion, came out fast. Perfect for a quick lunch.

The Panang curry was so flavorful. Really enjoyed the house cocktail too, it was a nice balance of rum, pineapple and lychee.

Classic French café vibe. Cozy and full of character. Perfect for a quiet coffee.

The food was balanced and seasoned just right. What stood out was their wine list - a thoughtful selection that paired beautifully with the dishes. The service was cheerful, the space light and airy. A very pleasant evening.

The staff were so nice and quick to help when we had a little mix-up with our order. Really appreciated that.

The seafood linguine with curry sauce was the main thing. The curry was subtle, not overpowering, and the pasta was cooked just right. The prawns were fresh. That's what I remember.

Love their natural wine selection! Got a bottle with some charcuterie for just a €7 corkage fee.

Service was super friendly, they even helped me pick a wine to go with the truffle pasta. The pasta itself was creamy and rich, just the right amount of truffle. A solid spot for a cozy dinner.

The vibe here is just right for a casual night. It's lively without being too loud, and the space feels open and relaxed. We ended up staying for hours just chatting and playing cards. A solid spot if you're looking for that kind of easygoing energy.

The managers and servers were incredibly friendly, made us feel right at home. The area was comfortable, perfect for a relaxed evening. Food was top-tier, especially the grilled octopus. A bit pricey, but the vibe was worth it.

The quiet street in this old part of town really makes a difference. You can just sit and watch the light change on the stone walls outside. It's a simple lunch, but the setting is everything.

The food here is inventive. I tried the duck confit with a cherry glaze, and the balance of savory and sweet was just right. The plating was really something else, almost too pretty to eat.
