Great decor, very intimate setting in a backyard style garden. Classic traditional food cooked very well. Everything you would expect from a Trattoria, with style.

We like it here, the food is always authentic Italian, Very nice place to eat, never had a bad meal, and the owner always remembers his customers&hellip; from the outside you wouldn&rsquo;t think it is as big as it is! We will go back a few times before returning back to UK , but we will always be back here&hellip;

Food was excellent!  Service was as well, considering the large tour groups to be accommodated.  Made for a somewhat noisy meal.

Excellent restaurant for a tastefull dinner with family or couple. The menu is not so full of dishes but they are very refined, you can surely taste all the best &quot;pugliesi&quot; dishes. The waiter was very polite and suggested us tipical and local plate  The prices are in line with the higt quality of this restaurant . Strongly suggested plate: spaghetti with nero di seppia, burrata and shrimps, wonderful!

A charming place with a welcoming vibe and delicious dishes. The mixed antipasto was mega delicious, and I can&#39;t wait to return to try their pizza.

Peaceful location. Service is good very attentive. Food tastes amazing! There were some ants, but that is what you get for a dinner in the fields. We didn&rsquo;t mind.

One of my best meals in Julia. Don&rsquo;t even hesitate to make a reservation here. The chef starts by walking around to greet the entire restaurant and tries to make a connection with every table. The menu can be a tasting if you&rsquo;d like, but I opted for the &agrave; la carte choose your own adventure style. especially since I don&rsquo;t like desserts, I thought this was a much better value around &euro;20 per dish. Every dish was a stand out. I particularly loved the sea urchin and mussel caccio e pepe. The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients and has beautiful presentation. The service was always on point, I never felt neglected or othered because I was a tourist. There was a good mix of Italians and English speaking tables. You do have to budget about three hours for the entire meal, as there&rsquo;s plenty of time in between courses to digest. But, overall, if you&rsquo;re looking for a really great meal to understand how food from this region can be upscaled and elevated, you must try eating at Duo. Grazie!

Quaint little wine bar on a side street near Piazza Sant&#39;Oronzo.  Proprietor and staff very friendly and attentive.  Warm, comfortable and close seating area that encourages conversation with fellow guests.  enjoyed a small (singolo) taglire misto which was plenty for two to enjoy for antipasto.  we were going to go elsewhere for dinner but after the meat and cheese decided that we weren&#39;t all that hungry still and instead ordered appetizers of  fave e cicoria and melanzane parmigiana.  In particular the parmigiana was excellent with a beautiful homemade tomato sauce.  Overall a very nice experience.

The restaurant sits within a beautifully preserved 17th-century residence in Matino&rsquo;s historic center, offering an enchanting, historically evocative ambiance.For our appetizer, we shared the Entr&eacute;e della Locanda, a generous selection featuring crispy fried bites, local cured meats, and artisanal cheeses. For the main course, we opted for Salento-style skewers and a tender slice of horse steak, both expertly grilled to perfection. As a side, we enjoyed a portion of crisp fries.Our meal was accompanied by natural water and a bottle of the house red wine, which complemented the flavors. Every detail, from the warm hospitality to the authentic local cuisine, made for an unforgettable dining experience

This was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.

36th wedding anniversary. This is our go-to special occasion restaurant. Although not billed as a sushi restaurant, their sushi menu is extensive and among the best in the city.

This restaurant is exceptional.  The menu is varied and creative.  The variety of flavors were delicious and the presentation different.  The wine list very complete. The service was efficient and appreciated that they use personnel with special needs!!! They were all friendly and diligent.  We consider alimenta to be the best restaurant in Lecce, Italy.  You should not miss it!!!

Really good food with a special flair and  twist from the chef. Service was excellent, very professional and warm. The location is perfect for a small borgo in Lecce. Highly recommend it. We will be returning!!!

This place is a hidden gem! The combination of delicious food and a beautiful outdoor dining area creates a lovely ambiance for any occasion.

You would not expect a pizzaria in a strip mall to deliver this kind of quality. Not that it is impossible, but even most large houses do not take the trouble to source ingredients and provide caring service. Mauricio, as we learned, started his business on a shoestring 14 years ago. It has since blossomed post COVID. He expanded into the space next door. He sources the most exquisite cheeses from a young group of artisan cheesmakers from  the North. It&#39;s a king of gorgonzola that is dreamy, get some with your appetizer plate is coppocola, uncooked creamy prosciutto, and a craft beer and you are set to order one of his delicious pizzas. What a great time it was to hear of his philosophy and business success. If you don&#39;t feel like going out they also deliver. Super high quality ingredients, hell even the pepper is sourced from Madagascar. Skip the overpriced  fancy places in Lecce, dine like the locals , treat yourself to Pizza Carpe Diem

Service was very good, food excellent. Toilet facilities needs improvements, urgently. Gents toilet had the pipe broken and the floor gets flooded each time you flush it.

The food was very good, sushi amazing but also everything else. The place is really nice and clean.People are kind.We took a mix between sushi and other dishes and we enjoyed very much, the service was quick. Small note sushi arrived later than the rest.Highly recommended!GrazieEnrico

We&rsquo;re OG Italians living in the US, foodies and lived and travelled the world, we know food. This is one of the best experiences we&rsquo;ve had so far ever in the world. Worth a star for food, ambience and service. We came back twice in 5 days! There&rsquo;s no shortage of good food in and around Gallipoli but the location, ambience and service at Lazzaro makes it exceptional. We starter with a wonderful aperitivo on the rooftop (strikingly beautiful and well decorated), followed by dinner in the stylish dining room on the ground floor. Chef knows what he&rsquo;s doing. Everything on the menu is fresh and worth a try. From crudo di mare (elevated by presentation and subtle dressings), to amazing yet light pasta dishes, to a sublime stuffed calamaro. The gem is their pizza. We tried Ambra the first time and one with nduja and spicy sausage the second time. The well crafted dish description cannot make justice to what you are going to eat once presented with the dishes. Pizza is light, not loaded, yet so flavoursome. Michelin-level everything! Well done to the staff and chef. We can&rsquo;t wait to be back.

This restaurant was just outside the city walls so felt more like a lovely neighbourhood restaurant than a touristy one.   The staff were lovely, strong English and explained various dishes on a menu that was varied and more inventive than alot of the restaurants we have been to in the old city. The food was superb, reasonably priced and special mention to the lemon and raspberry tirimisu....delicious!

Deliciously interesting food offered in a perfectly situated spot in Nard&ograve;&rsquo;s main square in its historic center. The staff and kitchen were very accommodating of my dietary needs, gluten free, dairy free, and allergic to crustaceans. Yikes! At first glance, their menu did not seem as if it would work for me, however our server quickly sorted out some slight alterations to a few dishes that worked out perfectly for me. Very happy and would happily return again should we ever find ourselves in Nard&oacute; again. Grazie Rintocco!

Great service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food! Highly recommend this sushi restaurant for when you need a break from pasta and pizza.

Seven of us went to celebrate my 50th birthday and the restaurant staff was so friendly and accommodating. We called to let them know that we were running around 15 minutes late from our reservation time and they said that was okay. They offer a variety of pizzas, as well as seafood, steak, and pasta dishes. Everything was delicious, especially the Nutella tart they brought out at the end of dinner with a candle. The local white wine was excellent too. I have always dreamed of coming to Italy and my dream came true for my 50th birthday. Thank you to Da Gianni Ristorante for being a part of my dream coming true with a wonderful birthday dinner and celebration!
