The brownie was really rich and went well with my coffee. Good texture, not too sweet. I'd probably get it again if I'm in the area.

The pad thai was okay, a little bland for my taste. The sushi though, that’s where they actually do things right. Fresh fish, proper rice. I’d skip the curries and just go straight for the rolls next time.

Great wine list — found a nice Barolo to go with the pasta. Service was attentive without hovering. Place gets a bit loud later, but still a solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Great sushi spot right across from the cinema. Fish tasted fresh and the staff were nice. Perfect for a quick bite before a movie.

Lovely lake view and friendly staff, but pricey for the portions. Our group of 10 got served at once, impressive.

The location is super central, but it gets crowded and the toilets are key-coded, so you have to ask for the code. Food was standard McDonald's quality.

Quick lunch here hit the spot. Chicken, rice, salad, naan for under 200 NOK. Portion was solid, definitely filling. Place was busy but food came out fast. Good spot if you're in central Grønland and need something quick.

The stuffed qeema naan was the highlight—so much flavor in every bite. The tangy pickles on the side gave it a nice little kick.

The burger itself was solid. Cooked right, bun held up. Service was fast, no complaints there. Just a heads up, the chipotle mayo is seriously spicy. I asked for plain mayo on the side and they charged me for it. Small thing, but a bit annoying. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Came for the halal options and got the beef kofta meal. Portion was generous, beef well-seasoned but honestly quite spice-heavy for me. Prices fair though, and staff friendly. Would've liked a bit more balance on the seasoning, but it hit the spot.

Decent spot for a classic Oslo dinner. Had the 3-course fish menu, trout was grilled just right. Dessert was simple, nothing fancy, but fine.

Came here after work on a Tuesday. The place had a nice buzz but I could still hear my friend across the table. That's rare for me—I usually find places either dead quiet or way too loud. We shared a few dishes, nothing fancy, but the lighting made it feel cozy. Would sit by the window again if I can.

Good wine list, especially for Burgundy. Nice that they do by-the-glass options. Service was helpful but it gets loud later. Fine for a quick dinner.

Part of the Deli de Luca chain, so you know the drill. Coffee's decent, sandwiches are fine for a quick bite. This one's got seating, which is handy. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Pizza was properly crispy, salad fresh enough. Sat outside by the sea, that part was nice. Staff friendly, no complaints there. Prices are what you'd expect for the location. Not my first time here, probably won't be the last. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

No. 12 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Oslo

Solid food, modern Thai. Seafood was the highlight. Terrace is nice, building has character. Service friendly enough. Only thing—other guests were loud, kinda ruined the vibe a bit. Still, decent meal.

The soft shell crab maki here is so good 😍 definitely one of my fave sushi spots in Oslo. Prices are fair for what you get. Miso soup was a nice way to start too.

Stopped by for the family pack—solid deal for Oslo. Fish tasted fresh, rice was decent. Staff let me borrow their phone to check the English menu, which was nice of them. Only downside: almost nowhere to sit. Honestly, just grab it to go.

The avocado and poached eggs were spot on, and the granola was a nice light pick. Prices felt fair for Oslo too.

The mixed grill here was really generous. Meat was juicy, not dry at all. I'm picky about freshness and this tasted properly prepared. Interior is pretty basic though, nothing fancy. But the food itself made up for it. Staff let us take our time which I appreciated. Would come back for the lamb alone.

The curry had real depth and the staff let us take our time. Nice to find a place where the food matches the vibe. A bit quiet for a Friday, but that worked for us.

The salmon bowl was loaded with thick cuts of fresh fish and decent veggie mix. Portion size honestly surprised me for what they charge. Service stayed quick even when the place filled up around noon. Nothing fancy but solid if you want a proper lunch without waiting around.

The Art Nouveau interior really caught my eye when I walked in. We had the gluten-free pizza and honestly it was better than I expected. Mussels and risotto were solid too. Nice spot if you're in the area and want something a bit different.

Beer’s cheap and cold, which saved the night. Food was just okay, and the bathroom could use some attention. Fine for a quick pint, not much beyond that.

The patatas bravas were solid, crispy with that smoky sauce. Fried squid too, really fresh. Sitting on those bar stools though... my back started complaining after a while. Service was there when I needed them, not hovering. Fine for a quick bite, just don't plan on a long evening.

Came in pretty late and the owner still took time to chat with us. Gave some tips about Oslo too. Pizza was solid, ended up going back the next day for another one. That says enough I think.

The staff fixed my pizza order mistake right away, which I really appreciated. The pizza itself was solid—good crust, decent toppings, especially for being so close to the airport. I’d stop by again if I’m in the area. Just wish the seating was a bit more comfortable, but that’s minor.

Lunch menu’s gotten better, that’s for sure. Had a fresh, tasty meal and they even had gluten-free bread, which I didn’t expect. Solid spot if you’re in the area and want something decent midday. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.
