The scampi was the best thing I ordered — really fresh and cooked well. Mussels were solid too. Would come back just for that dish.

Came here with a couple of friends after walking around the Grote Markt. Beer list is solid, and honestly it’s one of the cheaper spots in the area. Just remember it’s cash only, which almost got us 😅. Not fancy, but perfect for a casual hangout if you don’t wanna break the bank.

Came in for a late drink, stayed way longer than planned. Bartender was chatty, crowd was easygoing. Place has that local feel you don't get everywhere.

We sat outside for about an hour and a half. The wine was decent, nothing crazy, but the people-watching made up for it. Prices are steep, even for Knokke, so I didn’t order a second glass. The terrace is right on the square, which is nice, but the chairs aren’t super comfy for a long sit. Fine for a quick drink, I guess.

The pad thai was properly good—sweet, tangy, just the right amount of peanut. Sat there watching the waves while eating, hard to beat that combo. Only downside, it took a while to get our food. Place was packed though, so I guess that's on us for showing up at peak hour. Fine if you're not rushing.

The brie avocado sandwich on ciabatta was the standout. Melted brie done right, not too heavy. Interior's well thought out, decent spot for a quick lunch. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Slightly on the pricier side for what it is, but the quality holds up. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Stopped here for coffee on a quiet morning. Flat white was decent, properly made. Sat outside on the square, nice for people-watching. Staff were friendly enough, didn't rush me. Breakfast menu looked fine but I didn't eat. Prices reasonable for Antwerp. Probably a good spot if you're in the area.

The food here is consistently excellent, easily the best I've had in Antwerp in years. The chef's passion really comes through in every dish.

The food here is decent, and they actually paid attention to my dietary requests without making a fuss. Service was efficient too. I've been a few times now, and it's been pretty consistent each visit. Not a place for a fancy night out, but a solid, reliable option when you want a proper meal without any hassle.

The lady who runs the kitchen really knows her stuff. Sole fillets were spot on, shrimp cocktail fresh too. Family keeps things friendly and quick. Solid spot.

Quick bite during lunch rush. Got the burger and fries, came out in like 10 minutes. Fries were decent, burger was fine. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot. Place was busy but staff kept things moving. Good spot if you're in a hurry and don't want to wait around.

Stopped by after cycling through the area—pancake menu’s huge. Went for banana with chocolate sauce, and it hit the spot. Not overly sweet, cooked just right. Prices lean steep, but you’re paying for decent quality. Would’ve liked a better coffee to go with it, though.

Decent spot for a business lunch. Food was solid, seasonal menu keeps it fresh. Service friendly enough, no complaints there. It's on the pricier side, but you're paying for the quality. Would go back if I'm in the area again.

The steak tartare was spot on. Properly seasoned, not mushy, came with decent bread on the side. Crème brûlée after that was massive though—could easily feed two. Topped with fruit and a scoop of ice cream. Almost too sweet for me but still finished it. Would order the tartare again for sure.

The service here is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home. The mezze and moussaka are both delicious and generously portioned.

Lovely old pub in Antwerp, you can really feel the history here. They pour a proper pint and the cappuccino was surprisingly decent. Service was friendly too, made it easy to just sit and relax.

Right by the station and the zoo, so super easy to find. Loads of tables and there's a little play corner for kids, which was a nice surprise. Food was really good, though the bill did come out a bit higher than I expected. Probably more of a treat than a regular spot for me.

Turkish eggs were the real deal — that sauce had some serious depth. Place was packed on Sunday but the staff kept up fine. Nice spot for a relaxed brunch with a decent drink list.

Stopped by for a quiet afternoon drink. The Trappist was well kept, nice and cold. Staff let me take my time deciding, no rush at all. Sat near the window, comfortable enough to just relax and watch people go by. Simple, no fuss, exactly what I needed after a long week.

Picked my own fish from the display. Came with hot fish sauce and bread—that sauce was the best part. Everything tasted fresh.

Been here a few times now. The pad thai was solid again, same taste as last time. Staff remembered us which was kinda nice. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. Good enough for a random weekday dinner when you don't feel like cooking.

The €14 lunch deal was fair for soup and meatloaf with mash, but the wait between courses dragged a bit.

Came in for a quick bite and grabbed the waffle. Crispy outside, soft inside, exactly what I needed. Also tried the salted caramel soy latte — that one’s a keeper. Place wasn’t too busy at lunch, so I got my order fast. Solid spot if you’re in a hurry and want something decent.

Sushi was actually pretty good for this kind of spot. We went on a Saturday night and waited forever though 😅 probably better to hit it up on a weekday when it’s calmer. I’d come back with friends for sure, just not on a weekend again.

Loved the Dutch pancakes, lots of topping options. The gnome theme is cute and staff were friendly. Just note they only take cash or Maestro, no other cards.
