TheForkUserThe food was excellent and the table service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Other patrons seemed to be satisfied too. However, the welcome on arrival and seating were disappointing. I had to wait about 10 minutes to be greeted and shown to my table. There was no person receiving guests and I only received attention when I asked for it and this after having been ignored by 4 members of staff.

TheForkUserVery friendly staff and clean restaurant. Food was tasty. Had a salad but unfortunately a few of the ingredients were missing!!. Good atmosphere and not too loud. Bit on the pricey side and not enough light bites on the menu for lunch.

TheForkUserThe tasting-menu food was excellent and paired beautifully with the wine flight. The staff were friendly and attentive. The sommelier, Pedro, and his assistant, Freya, were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was lovely to discuss the menu and wine with both them and the head chef!

The venue is good with comfortable seating and well spaced tables allowing enough privacy in an open room.The only downside were very minor issues with the service. The wrong dish was brought for my partner and a drinks order was completely misplaced. Neither of these spoiled our evening.When the wrong dish was brought it was quickly replaced with the correct one. by very apologetic staff., and a discount was applied to the bill for the inconvenience.Suggestion - It would have been nice to offer to take both dishes away and return with both at the same time. One person eating at a time is not great.We will definitely eat here again.

All 3 courses were beautifully cooked and the presentation of the meals were just fantastic. Thank you all so much cannot wait to come again.

TheForkUserI’ve just met up with four friends I’d not seen for 45 years - and TWE completely ticked every box - from being welcomed, seated, hot plates and good hot fresh food - it didn’t disappoint and there was no pressure to leave our table. I don’t know when I have ever had really good food that met everyone’s tastes and needs. I can truthfully say that on this occasion the staff, attention, food and ambience was outstanding. I’m also conscious that there are a number of staff behind the scenes and in the kitchen who don’t get praise/tips directly from the customers and trust they will hear this review too.

TheForkUserThe staff were very welcoming and professional. Meal was plentiful and well cooked, maybe warm the plates to keep food hot. Knifes need replacing as very blunt to cut meat, although we should have asked for replacements. Nice atmosphere.

TheForkUserThe service from the manager was fabulous. He was really helpful. The food was delicious, and so filling!! We had a mixture of cookie dough, waffles and crepe. The only bit that let you down was the drinks. The cookies and cream bubble tea was disappointing, tasted very weak/watery. The other bubble tea was not cold either. Bubblegum shake was great initially but as you got further down the drink, the taste disappeared. We would definitely come back, but would order different drinks next time.


