TheForkUserThe welcome by all of the staff and the food were absolutely without fault. We had a one hour wait after seating before our afternoon tea came to the table. We were a party of 17 but had confirmed attendance. We weren’t expecting to wait so long especially with kids in our group. The team did bring some cheeky taster sandwiches keep our munchkins from hanger. When it came… the afternoon tea was truly delicious. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and gentle buzz of conversation made me feel right at home. The staff were lovely and guided my wife and I to a cozy corner overlooking the memorial. We had a cheese scone and a fruit tart to share and for drinks we had a hot chocolate and a latte. The scone was heavenly scones, and the tart was fresh and tasty, it looked almost too good to eat.
