Love the old-school Showa vibe here. Feels authentic and cozy. Perfect for a quick, relaxed bite during my lunch break.

Came in for lunch, the huge aquarium in the middle is pretty cool. Felt like eating by the sea. The fish looked super fresh, which was nice. Place is big and clean, good for a casual meal.

The miso tonchan was so rich, just needed a bowl of rice with it. Simple and good.

Tried the yakitori set for the first time. The chicken sashimi was surprisingly clean-tasting, and the grilled skewers were all juicy. Really shows what good chicken can be. The place gets the basics right.

The counter seats are perfect for watching the yakitori grill. The house sake flight was a nice touch with the skewers.

The Yinsu Chen is a deep-fried bread with a crispy outside and a dense, chewy inside. Served with condensed milk, it's a simple but satisfying treat.

Staff were really helpful about my food allergy. The place is clean and no-fuss.

The Taiwanese ramen was the main reason I came. The broth has a unique spicy kick and the noodles are chewy. The mapo tofu was decent but the ramen is the real draw here.

Cozy spot with low lighting, great for catching up with friends. They were still doing social distancing when I went.

The top 100 restaurant tag is well-earned. Came for the grilled meats, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. You can taste the difference. It's a bit pricey, but for that level of freshness, I get it. Solid choice when you want something good.

Been coming here for years. The seasoned egg is a must-have, it's always spot on. The broth is rich and flavorful, really makes the noodles.

The miso katsu was the best part, even though it's mainly an udon place.

Convenient spot near Kamimaezu station. Just wanted a quick, filling meal and this hit the spot.

The bak kut teh here is so comforting. I really appreciate how tender the spare ribs are, and the soup has a lovely aroma from the star anise. It feels like a genuinely nourishing meal, which is exactly what I look for.

Spacious inside with both counters and tables. Lively vibe, mostly younger crowd. Fun atmosphere.

Sashimi was fresh, grilled dishes well-seasoned. Good à la carte selection.

Stopped by for a quick bite. Their makgeolli selection is pretty solid, tried a couple flavors. The corn tea was a nice touch too, kinda sweet. Good spot if you're into that.

A bit pricey, but the ingredients are so fresh and everything is prepared with care. A nice treat.
