TheForkUserWe only had starters with triple cooked chips.. Fabulous prawn cocktail and spicy chicken pieces.. that's all we wanted..a large snack really.. fabulous.
TheForkUserA wonderful pub restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff were very sincere and helpful. It was definitely service with smiles. The food was excellent and hot! The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.
TheForkUserAny time my family are at Cheshire oaks, Ed's gets a visit, it's simple , does what it says on the tin.
TheForkUserThe best Sunday dinner i have had! Absolutely lovely. Lovely pub, bet it is very cosy in the winter with the open fire. We will definitely be back.

TheForkUserBeen to several places recently for lunch, non have been particularly good ,had a carvery last week in Ellesmere Port. I don't know how they had the nerve to serve it. I had been to the Toby Inn many years ago,and it was always excellent,so suggested we try it this week . It was absolutely marvellous. Could not fault it at all. We will be back next week for certain.Would definitely recommend to anyone.Excellent food, good service, sensibly priced.
TheForkUserGreat place for a preconcert meal. Smallish tapas style plates or larger meals. Happy hour on cocktails and oysters before 6pm. There should have been more customers when I went. Stripped back decor. Good service. You can watch the team prepare your food and ask questions. Will be back.
TheForkUserExcellent service but the food is outstanding. Worth every penny! Creek stone ribeye steak is always cooked to perfection! Only disappointments are the mocktails. They taste like something out of a carton and the glass size are tiny, not worth £6.50 for it.
TheForkUserGood choice of food, excellently prepared and presented. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We’ll certainly go again.
TheForkUserLovely old building in the heart of Castleton. Excellent, friendly service. We arrived early and they had no issues with seating us straight away. Food (1 burger, 1 fishcakes) was really good and decent value for money.
TheForkUserSteak was cooked to perfection, I especially enjoyed the peppercorn sauce with my chips, probably the best peppercorn sauce I’ve ever had! So creamy 😍 if you’re a whiskey drinker make sure to try the Balblair 14yr it’s outstanding 👌
_TI***44If you're looking for the best Persian cuisine in the area, look no further than Antler. The quality of the food and the lovely ambiance make it a perfect spot for any occasion.
TheForkUserThe welcome by all of the staff and the food were absolutely without fault. We had a one hour wait after seating before our afternoon tea came to the table. We were a party of 17 but had confirmed attendance. We weren’t expecting to wait so long especially with kids in our group. The team did bring some cheeky taster sandwiches keep our munchkins from hanger. When it came… the afternoon tea was truly delicious. Dietary requirements were considered and catered for well.
_TI***euThe restaurant offers a great ambiance with friendly staff and delicious curry. The sticky toffee pudding is a must-try!
TheForkUserReally nice view and food, the waiter was really nice too! I recommand the only thing was the screen on the wall that I thought were not the best and didn't really match with the vibes, otherwise it was really nice !
TheForkUserStaff are amazing ..very friendly and approachable without encroaching on our personal space . Went through the menu with me as I have a nut allergy.A hidden gem , lots of little private booths as well as a large open area. Outside wet garde which was clean and tidy.Food was excellent with a good variety and reasonably priced.Would definitely eat here again.
