TheForkUserThe restaurant's look and music recreate really well the typical atmosphere of French bistrots. The food was delicious, and the value for money of the Fork menu was excellent BUT we were sat next to a couple who spent the entire time on their computers and face-timing friends and family members really loud. We politely mentioned that we would appreciate if they could be a bit quieter, but they didn't understand why, so got a bit quiter indeed but carried on face-timing until we left. The staff could obviously see what was going on but did not bother. If I were the staff, I would have asked them to go in a coffee shop or a McDo rather than being in a restaurant trying to display a certain level of standing. I was also surprised when we were told to put our coats on the "cloackroom" hangers ourselves... of course, nothing we can't do, but if you're playing the elegance card, I would have expected the staff to do it (like they do in most restaurants of similar standing, to be honest).Co & Ko
