Big plates and fair prices for sure. Staff were friendly too. I had the grilled chicken salad and the greens tasted properly fresh, which I always appreciate.

Food was solid, worth the drive from Germany. Service friendly, dishes tasty. The setting really does it for me though.

The golden latte was really nice, smooth and not too sweet. Space is comfortable for sitting a while, though it did get a bit busy later. Almond croissant was already sold out when I got there around 3pm, so go earlier if you want one. I just had the coffee and it was enough for me.

The ribs were properly sticky and the sauce had a real kick to it. Potato wedges on the side, nothing fancy but done right. Cozy enough inside, even with the market bustle right outside.

Came here on a weekday evening, place wasn't too packed. Got the smoky cocktail and the Mastiha one for something sweet — both were solid. Vibe is nice, dim lighting, good for just sitting and talking. Not the cheapest but fine for what it is. Wouldn't mind coming back.

The 4-course menu was beautifully plated and honestly pretty generous. The wine pairing worked well too. Service stayed friendly even when the place got busy.

Cozy spot for a quick bite, nothing fancy but it works. The place feels tidy and well looked after, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for the portion you get. I sat near the window and the light was nice, made it easy to just chill for a bit. Not a destination spot, but solid for a casual stop.

The chef’s choice menu kept me guessing in a good way. Every plate came out looking neat and tasted even better. The lighting inside is soft, not too dim, and the chairs are actually comfortable enough to sit in for a while. I’d go back just for that relaxed vibe.

Took the kids here last weekend—that playground is huge and right next to the terrace, so we could actually sit and enjoy our drinks while they ran around. I had a glass of their house red with the steak, decent enough for the price. Food was solid, nothing fancy, but the setting makes it worth it.

The meat here is proper quality, no doubt about that. Had the platter with the small appetizers, that was the best part. Only thing is, it's not cheap and the portions aren't huge. Add a bottle of wine and you'll feel it in your wallet. Fine for a treat now and then, but not a regular spot for me.

The zuurvleis was properly tangy, not too heavy. Liege-style meatballs came in that rich syrup-like sauce, just how it should be. Staff let us take our time even though it got busy later. Cozy spot for a casual dinner. Only thing, tables are a bit close together, but that's pretty normal for the city centre.

Came here with a few friends last week and honestly the vibe was so nice for a catch-up. We shared some dishes and everything was pretty tasty, nothing crazy but solid. Toilets being clean is always a win in my book haha. Only thing is it got a bit busy later so we didn’t stay too long. Would come back for sure if we’re in the area again.

Solid burger and fries, nothing fancy. Service was fine, no complaints there. Place was easy to get to, which helped. If you're in the area and want a straightforward meal without fuss, it does the job. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but it's decent for what it is.

Sat at the bar last Friday. Cocktails were solid, bartender knew what he was doing. Place gets loud but that's part of the vibe. Good for a casual night out.

Dropped by for a slice and ended up staring at the counter for a good five minutes. The cakes look almost too good to eat. Tried one with a flavor combo I hadn't seen before. Really tasty, not overly sweet. Price is a bit steep for a daily thing, but for a treat, sure. Place was pretty quiet in the afternoon.

The Brussels waffles with hot cherries and vanilla ice cream were really good. Nice and crispy outside, soft inside. Wish the ice cream scoop was a bit bigger for the price, but I'd still get it again.

The wok dishes were pretty tasty and the price felt fair for what you get. I had the chicken teppanyaki and it was decent, though honestly the food could've been hotter when it hit the table. Portion size was okay, not huge but not tiny either. For a quick lunch stop, it does the job without breaking the bank.

We were stood waiting for 10 minutes to even be said hello to. The only waitress was distracted and more focused on stocking fridges than serving. The food was not great either. The rabbit was tough and dry and the fondue tasted way too strongly of wine. Wouldn’t go back

Service was fast, but they handed me someone else's plate first. Food tasted good, just a touch salty. Would've liked a wine suggestion to go with it, though.

The risotto was really delicate, I loved it. Got a glass of white wine to go with it, nice surprise. Menu is pretty simple but everything tastes fresh. Good spot to bring a friend for a chill catch-up, not too fancy. Maybe a bit quiet for a Saturday night but that’s fine. 😊

Came here after the French Open final, mostly to get out of the rain. The toastie was actually decent—cheese pulled properly, bread crispy. Coffee did the job too. Place was packed but that added to the vibe. Paid €14 for the toastie and a cappuccino, which felt fair for the area. Wouldn't mind coming back on a quieter day though.

Restaurant in Château St Gerlach - Oostwegel Collection, Member of Relais and Châteaux

Stumbled on this place while looking for a coffee refill and ended up staying way longer than planned. The cycling theme is actually cool, not just for show. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about the espresso blend. There's a Japanese comic book on the shelf that my friend grabbed immediately. Coffee was solid, though the seating is a bit cramped.

Stopped by for a tasting and ended up staying way longer than planned. The guy behind the counter really knows his stuff—answered every question without making me feel rushed. Tried a few things I wouldn't normally pick, glad I did. Place has a chill vibe, easy to hang out in. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's on me for lingering.

Stopped by for a late lunch. The kuku starter was nicely done, fresh and well presented. Homemade iced tea hit the spot, not too sweet. Service was quick, maybe a little too quick — felt a bit rushed. But the food was decent and the place has a relaxed vibe. Pretty good for a casual meal.

Decent value for what you get. Portions were solid and the flavors worked well together. A nice glass of red would've made it even better, but the food held its own.

Loved the vintage vibe here — really felt like stepping back in time. Got the schnitzel, pretty solid, though the sides were a bit meh. Nice spot for a stroll around the old town after.

The courtyard seating is really nice when it’s warm out. We went for the BBQ buffet and the tomahawk steak was the highlight for sure. I liked that you could season the meat yourself. Service was friendly, kept our drinks topped up. Solid spot if you want a chill meal.
