The mixed grill was properly done — good char, well-seasoned, not dried out. They brought over a free ouzo when we sat down, which set things off nicely. Place is loud though, very much a lively taverna vibe. I'd have liked a bit more guidance on the wine list, but the food carried the evening. Solid spot if you're not after a quiet meal.

The vegetarian plate had grilled zucchini and a really nice herby ricotta. Fresh, not mushy. Portion was on the smaller side for the price, but I left feeling good, not heavy. Cozy room, though a bit warm near the window. Would come back for the seasonal veggie mix.

The view really is the main thing here—rolling hills everywhere you look. Food was decent, not mind-blowing, but the scenery made up for it.

Lovely terrace, nice view over the road. Staff were friendly and quick even when it was busy. Cold beer after a hike was exactly what I needed. I did notice the menu could use a few more fresh, lighter options though. But for a casual stop, it worked fine.

We came here with a bigger group and basically ordered half the menu. Portions are proper, not those tiny tasting things. Got the ribs and the satay, both were solid. Only thing, it got a bit loud inside, but that's on us for being a big table I guess. Paid around 30 euros each, felt fair for what we got.

The staff made sure my gluten-free request was handled properly. Fresh salad and grilled chicken were spot on. Just wish the portion was a bit bigger.

Cozy little place in Hasselt, staff actually remember you after a visit or two. Coffee's solid, though I wish they'd carry a better red by the glass. Good for a quiet afternoon.

Came here with a couple of friends and honestly the set menu was solid for what we paid. The complimentary drink at the end was a nice little surprise too. Parking was super easy which is always a win in this area. Wouldn't mind coming back for a casual catch-up again 🙂

Decent little place for a Sunday coffee. Hot chocolate was pretty good, not too sweet. We sat by the window and just watched the street for a while. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Maybe a bit cramped when it gets busy, but for a lazy afternoon it does the job.

Lots of flavors to pick from, which made it fun for our group since everyone wanted something different. Got the pistachio and it was solid. Place is small though, so we just grabbed cones and walked around. 🍦

Food's solid, classic French with a Belgian twist. Service was friendly too. Good spot if you want a reliable dinner without overthinking it.

Simple spot, clean and quiet for a weekday lunch. Owner was friendly and the menu price felt fair. Nothing fancy, but it worked.

Been coming here for a while now. The landlady still remembers my usual order, which honestly keeps me coming back. Food's consistent, nothing fancy, but that's fine by me. Had a quick chat with her again last time, felt like catching up with someone I know. Place hasn't changed much, and I mean that in a good way.

The beef tartare was the standout. Clean, sharp seasoning, good texture. Had the set lunch, same menu as dinner, which felt like a solid deal. Bread was decent too, not just a filler. Service was fine, but honestly I was just focused on the food. Would come back for the tartare alone.

Lunch menu is a solid deal, portions are pretty generous for the price. Got the daily special, tasted fresh but honestly the seasoning was a bit on the safe side. Nothing mind-blowing, but it hit the spot for a quick workday meal. I'd come back if I'm in the area again.

Came here on a Saturday night, place was packed. Schnitzel was crispy, exactly how it should be. Portion size is solid, left full. Beer list has some good local options. Service was friendly even with the crowd. Only downside, it gets loud and you might wait a bit for a table. Fine by me, food made up for it.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Curry sauce was the highlight — decent kick, not too heavy. Staff friendly enough, didn't have to wait long. Place is a bit tight inside, but fine for a casual bite. Reasonable price for what you get. Wouldn't go out of my way, but it works if you're nearby.

Lahmacun was spot on, thin and crispy the way it should be. Dürüm was solid too. 20€ for two people felt fair for the amount of food we got. Künefe looked good but I was too full to try it.

Been coming here for months and it’s still my go-to Chinese spot in Liège. The food’s consistently good, but the owners are what keep me coming back. Always welcoming, always friendly. Had the dumplings again today, still solid. Place isn’t fancy, but it doesn’t need to be.

Still the best ice cream spot in Liège, no question. Flavors rotate enough that I never get bored, and it’s always busy with locals. Just wish they’d open a second location.

The sauerkraut with sausage, smoked pork loin, and pork knuckle was proper. Meat was tender, the kraut had that sour kick. Portion was huge, could barely finish. Traditional New Year's Day stuff, done right.

Came here with a couple of friends on a weekday evening. Place wasn't too busy, which was nice. I had the pasta and it was cooked right, sauce had good flavour. Portion size was decent for what you pay. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for anything. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Food was solid and portions generous. Service quick too. Only thing—tables are packed tight, gets loud. A nice red would've helped cut through the noise, honestly. Quality makes up for it though.
