Thursday schnitzel night is a solid deal. The schnitzel was huge, crispy, and came with sides. For what you pay, the portion is generous. I left feeling full without spending a fortune.

Been coming here for years, and the live music on Friday nights is a big part of why. It’s not too loud, just a nice background vibe for a quiet dinner. Really sets the place apart from others in the area.

Outdoor seating by the market is a real plus. Had a quick business lunch there on a sunny Tuesday. The spot is very convenient for central meetings. Food was decent, service efficient. A solid option if you need a reliable place in that area.

Lovely spot in the courtyard for a sunny day. Appreciated that the staff happily brought extra mash when I asked.

Busy hotel restaurant, fully booked. Still got my food in 10 mins. Staff were friendly, efficient even though short-staffed. Solid, standard menu.

The outdoor pods are cosy with a little electric fire. The portions are massive, which is good because the food is tasty.

The English Cider was the highlight. Crisp and dry, not too sweet. Perfectly chilled. It cut through the richness of the food nicely. Just a shame it was a bit pricey for a pint.

Sunday roast was spot on. Gluten-free gravy option is a thoughtful touch.

Great spot for breakfast. Food was cooked well, not greasy. They're dog-friendly, which is a nice touch. The service was quick, but the coffee selection was a bit basic for my taste. Could use a proper flat white or a decent breakfast cocktail option.

Great to see a solid range of veggie and vegan dishes. The sweet potato falafel salad was fresh and hearty. The real highlight was the vegan chocolate cake – paired it with a rich, dark stout and the combo was spot on. A nice change of pace.

Came in for a quick lunch. The portion for the price was spot on, really decent size. The owner was friendly and had a good chat. Just what you need for a light bite without feeling short-changed.

Been here a few times over the years. Staff are always friendly, remember your drink order. Nice relaxed vibe in the evenings, feels like a proper local spot.

Ordered the drinks through the website at the table. They arrived almost instantly. Very efficient system, no waiting around.

A nice little spot for breakfast. The vibe is pleasant and the food came out quickly. Everything tasted fine, and the prices seem pretty reasonable for this part of town.

The view from the rooftop is the main event here, especially as the sun goes down over the city. Perfect for a quiet evening drink. The cocktails were nice, though my G&T felt a bit light for the price. Still, that sunset is hard to beat.

Perfect for a quick bite. Their brunch menu hits the spot. Sat in the garden, the afternoon sun was a nice bonus. Got my food fast, which is all I needed.

The pistachio cocktail was the star for me. Really well-crafted and fresh. It had this lovely, subtle nutty flavour that wasn't too sweet. Just a really nice, thoughtful drink.

The scones here are honestly some of the best I've had in ages. They were still warm, with that perfect crumbly texture. Just a really lovely spot for a quiet coffee.

The sausage roll. That's what I came for. Flaky pastry, still warm, with a really well-seasoned filling. Just the right amount of herbs. The cakes looked good, but I was here for the savoury stuff. Hit the spot on a chilly afternoon.

The veg samosas were a nice special, and the skate wings were fresh. But the portions felt a bit small for the price, especially the mains. I left thinking I could've made a similar meal at home for less.

Nice to find a dog-friendly spot. The small cooked breakfast was solid, and the coffee was a good pairing.

The eggs royale was really good, and the coffee’s always spot on here. What I like is how clean and bright the whole place feels—nice big windows and comfy seats. Makes for a relaxed start to the day.

Friendly, efficient staff. They were patient with our toddlers and took dietary needs seriously. The service made for a relaxed meal.

Grabbed a takeaway from here to eat by the water. The portions are huge! Ended up sharing my fish and chips with my partner, still had some left. Good for the price.

Reliable spot for a quick bite. Beef stew was hearty, chocolate torte hit the spot. Food's clearly made with care. Good for when you need something solid and fast.

A nice little spot run by a Japanese couple. The decor is pleasant, quite cosy. Food was fresh and cooked well. The only thing is the portions felt a bit small for the price. Still, a decent meal.

Finally tried the curry after driving past for years. The staff were good, and the wine list had a nice Riesling that cut through the spice.

Loved the back garden for lunch. So many tables tucked away, felt like a little secret spot. They even brought a water bowl for our pup without us asking. A bit of a breeze today, but still lovely to be outside.

Love that they list where all their produce comes from. The ingredients are so fresh, and it's nice to see the local focus. Plenty of healthy choices too.

Decent breakfast, nothing mind-blowing but solid. The short wait was fine. Love that they're dog-friendly inside, a real plus. Had a decent coffee with it, hit the spot.
