The seafood starter was really well-seasoned, and the duck came out perfectly cooked. Staff picked a nice wine to go with it too. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends 🍷

Food was decent, but honestly the front door stayed open the whole time and it got proper cold inside. I was rushing to finish before my food went lukewarm. Service was fine, no complaints there. Just wish they'd close the damn door in winter. Would think about that before going back in colder months.

The seafood pasta was decent—mussels a bit overdone, but the sauce carried it. Sat near the window, and the light made the whole place feel softer. Nothing fancy, just a nice quiet lunch. I’d come back for that.

The Beyond Burger here is seriously good—juicy, thick, not dry at all. For a burger spot, the vegan and vegetarian options are pretty solid. Staff was friendly and quick when I asked about the menu. Only thing is the place gets a bit busy around lunch, but the food came out fast enough.

Loved the recyclable packaging and how fresh everything tasted. Plenty of veggie options too. Entrance was a bit chaotic but upstairs was calm enough to sit and chat for a while.

Been coming here for a while now. The chef still comes out to say hi, which I always appreciate. That little touch keeps me coming back. Food's been consistent every time, especially the wine pairings. Service is attentive but not hovering. Only thing is it's a bit pricey, but you know what you're paying for.

The quattro formaggi really hit the spot. Dough was thin and had that nice charred taste, you can tell they put effort into it. Place was a bit loud when I went but honestly the pizza made up for it. Simple menu, they know what they're doing. Would go back just for that crust alone.

Lamb chops were solid, baked potato good too. Strawberry mojito was the best part honestly. Service kept it easy.

Good wine list. Sommelier knew what he was doing, pairings were spot on. Staff friendly, not pushy. Made the evening easy.

Stopped by for a quick bite near the cathedral. They've got white, milk, brown, and dark chocolate—plus vegan options. Nice little spot if you're in the area.

Steak was solid. Big terrace, plenty of seats inside too. Service quick and friendly. Ordered saignant but came out closer to medium. Not a dealbreaker, just saying.

Nice spot right by the marina. Burger was solid, cooked well. Service quick too. Prices a bit steep but you're paying for the location.

Stopped by for a quick bite and the people working there were genuinely friendly. Food came out fresh, no complaints. Place is small but that’s part of the charm. Wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m in the area again.

The beef tenderloin was pretty good—cooked just right, nice flavor. Staff were fine, not overly chatty. Place had a decent vibe, nothing fancy but comfortable. Maybe a bit warm inside, but that’s minor. I’d order the same thing again if I’m in the area.

The dinner was good, also for our kids who can be choosy. It was great to eat outside in the walking street. The staff was very supportive during the order, given that the menu was in dutch.

Fun American-themed spot with train booths and staff in costume. We grabbed burgers and the vibe was super playful. Service was friendly, though it got a bit loud later. Fine for a casual bite.

Came for the live music, stayed way longer than planned. The crowd was super cheerful and the whole place had this easygoing energy. Drinks were fine, nothing crazy, but the vibe made up for it. Fun spot for a casual night out if you're in the area.

The set menu was beautifully plated, every dish looked like a small piece of art. The bistro itself is warm and cozy, the kind of place where you can linger a bit longer. Service was attentive without hovering. Only tiny thing, the pacing felt slightly rushed between courses. But honestly, a solid choice for a nicer dinner out.

The surprise menu kept things interesting, and they even brought out the meat to show before cooking. Felt properly Italian inside.

Fresh sushi, fair price. Staff actually listened when I asked for no wasabi — didn’t make a fuss about it either. Place isn’t fancy but it doesn’t need to be. Solid spot if you’re nearby and want something quick. Service was friendly, not pushy.

Friendly service and a lovely terrace. Gluten-free options were plenty, mains a bit small though.

The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were so good, honestly the highlight of brunch. Staff was super friendly too. Portions are big for the price.

The chef’s oysters were the highlight—so fresh and full of flavor. We grabbed a table with friends and ended up chatting with the hostess, who was super warm and funny. Would come back just for that vibe. 🦪

Tasting menu was solid, each plate had something interesting going on. Wine pairings matched well. Bit pricey but worth it for the experience.

Came here with a couple of friends for a quick catch-up and ended up staying way longer than planned 😅 The international menu has some cool options—we tried a few things and they were pretty solid. Staff were super friendly too, which always makes it easier to hang around. It’s right by the station, so super easy to get to. Maybe not the quietest spot if you want a deep chat, but fine for a relaxed evening.

I’ve been here maybe five times now and the food’s always solid. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. The staff are friendly too, which helps. It’s become my go-to in Hasselt when I can’t decide where to eat. Just wish the tables weren’t so close together when it’s busy. Still, a comfortable spot overall.

The kapsalon was spot on — hot, cheesy, exactly what I needed. Drinks were cold too. Place itself is nothing fancy, but it's got that casual vibe where you don't feel rushed. Service was friendly enough, though we did wait a bit for the bill. Fine for a quick bite.

Went for the set menu, mainly for the gratin oysters. They were properly done, not overcooked. The warm seafood platter was decent, but honestly the sabayon dessert stole the show—freshly whipped, light, just the right sweetness. Service was attentive without hovering. Only tiny thing: the pace felt a bit rushed between courses. Would've liked a breather.

The plating here is genuinely nice, and the food actually holds up to how it looks. That’s not always the case. Had the wine pairing with my main, and it worked really well. Staff were friendly without hovering. Place gets busy, so it’s a bit loud, but that didn’t bother me much. I’d go back if I’m in the area again.

Wonderful restaurant! Family owned and operated, great food and great service. You won't be disappointed. Definitely one of our favorites!
