TheForkUserLa Cantine was busy with people, a varied typical French brasserie menu all served at really good prices. A delicious glass of Condrieu too!
TheForkUserGreat service, very friendly and helpful. The outside tables had a nice atmosphere on the square. Good selection of local wines. Menu covered all the usual favourites.
TheForkUserAll perfect ! Nice place, warm welcome, very tasty food, good wine. The restaurant is located in the most charming quarter of downtown Grenoble.
TheForkUserMy 2nd visit; not just excellent food of a very high standard, but also a true culinary experience. A must visit, I think. We had 5 dishes filled with variety, surprise and good presentation. The ingredient quality and attention to detail of each dish was very high. Merci beaucoup, je reviendrai, encore.
TheForkUserBeautiful setting, nice selection of French food. Service was casual but friendly. Great spot to check out while visiting Grenoble.
TheForkUserWe had never visited the restaurant before, but ended up visiting twice during our week-long stay in Grenoble! The first time Amul served us and he was the perfect host, guiding us what to eat and chatting amicably. The food was like no other Indian we have visited, as the recipes were family ones which undoubtedly provided unique flavours and were perfect for our need to eat vegan dishes. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their choices with paneer cheese - something they had not tried before. The restaurant was busy on both nights and both Amul and his colleague’s customer service was second to none. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one we would all wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you so much
TheForkUserVery friendly and efficient service. Modern casual ambiance with the restaurant opening up on the food production lab. Ravioles were perfectly cooked, and their sauces complemented them in a refreshing and tasty way. Great wines by the glass.
TheForkUserWhat a local gem! Wholesome tasty food incorporating the best of local produce. Good value menus and the wine list was very competitive compared to many restaurants especially at this level of good quality food. This cosy inn is in lovely off the main road village that is not ov by touristy and has some nice little shops displaying locally made pottey items. Really worth going out of your way to this cosy inn.
TheForkUserExcellent food and service in a great location on the Place Grenette, and very good value for money.
TheForkUserSuper food, friendly service and a lovely ambiance. Seems perfect for both dates or larger meals. Our waiter Edwin had an incredible knowledge for the background of our food and took us on an informative journey from the monks who made the wine to the difference in crime brûlée
TheForkUserOur evening felt like a true experience. We loved the authenticity of the host and how she described her dishes as well as the energy and passion you could feel she gave them and the restaurant in general. They were absolutely delicious and well crafted in a way that made us feel in real flow from one taste to the next. Can’t wait to go again for the next menu!
TheForkUserA fantastic warm and intimate setting for fantastically filling and delicious food! We had a great night due to that and the great service we were provided. Would 100% recommend dining here.

TheForkUserAn amaizing spot in Grenoble.I love it since 2013, 10 years fan.
TheForkUserVery helpful waiter to give us advice on both the food and wine. Great setting in the centre of Étoile. The filet de bœuf and the maigre were super tasty.
TheForkUserGood place and great service, but food is average.
