The chirashi bowl was the move — plenty of fresh fish for what they charge. Service stayed friendly even when the place got busy. I paired mine with a crisp white wine, and honestly, that combo worked better than I expected. Just note the seating is a bit tight if you're not in a hurry.

The pork knuckle was properly crispy, meat fell off the bone. Ettaler beer on tap tasted fresh. Portion big enough to skip lunch the next day.

Stopped here before a train—coffee and pretzel were solid. Ended up ordering a second round. Owner even helped us out when it started raining. Appreciated that.

Came back here after a hike again—still solid. The portions are generous and the staff lets you eat in peace. Prices fair for what you get.

We stopped by in the afternoon and had the Kaiserschmarrn plus a slice of chocolate cherry cake on the terrace. Windy, but fine. Service was quick and friendly. The spot right next to the parking lot makes it easy to just pop in. Portion was decent for the price, though I wouldn't say it's a steal.

The staff were super friendly and the room was spotless. Breakfast had lots of options too. Good spot for a chill weekend with friends.

Nice spot right by the water. Food was decent, though I felt the portions were a bit small for what you pay. Still, the view makes it worth stopping by for a quick lunch.

Stopped by for dessert — the tiramisu was solid, and the wine pairing they suggested worked really well. Service was friendly enough, though it took a moment to get the bill.

Stopped by for a late afternoon drink. Place has real character, not polished up for tourists. Mixed crowd during the day, easy to just sit and watch people. Didn't eat, so can't judge the food. Service was efficient, no fuss. Fine if you want a break from the usual Munich beer hall scene.

Stopped by for lunch after a walk in the park. The octopus was properly tender, not rubbery at all. Pizza had a nice thin crust, though the topping could've used a bit more salt. Took a while to get seated, but once we ordered, things moved along. Solid choice if you're in the area and want something decent without the tourist trap feel.

Been coming here every ISPO for years now. This time tried the truffle pasta and it was properly good. Place gets busy but the vibe stays cozy. Just wish they'd open a bit earlier, had to wait around outside for 10 minutes. Still my go-to Italian spot around here though.

The moussaka really hit the spot—rich, hearty, exactly what I needed. Greek salad was decent but felt a bit overpriced for the size. Sat outside and yeah, wasps are a thing there in summer, so keep that in mind. Service was friendly enough, no complaints. Would come back for that moussaka again.

Found this place wandering near Marienplatz. Pancakes were a hit with the kids, coffee did the job for us adults. Courtyard seating's a decent escape from the crowds.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Beer garden is solid, typical Bavarian menu, nothing fancy but does the job. Schnitzel was fine, portion decent for the price. Service was a bit slow though, had to wait a while to get the bill. Good enough if you're in the area and want a beer outdoors.

Great find in central Munich, easy to get to. The food was good, service was also good although I had to ask for basic things that I feel should have been offered.

The bun cha here hits the spot. Pork was properly charred, and the dipping sauce had that right balance of sweet and sour. Fresh herbs came out with the plate, plenty of mint and perilla. Portion was big enough that I skipped dinner later. Just wish the noodles were slightly warmer, but that's a minor thing.

Came with a bigger group and honestly the price felt fair for what you get. Food was decent, nothing crazy. But the ventilation... yeah, could be way better. Left smelling like the kitchen. Also heads up, the restroom decor is a bit much if you're with kids. Not sure I'd bring them in there again.

The setting is really nice and the staff were friendly. Food was a bit underwhelming though—my dish tasted a little flat for what they charge.

Big menu, pretty lively spot. Got the schnitzel—portion was huge, honestly enough for two. Place gets loud though, so don't come here for a quiet chat. Service was fast despite the crowd.

Coffee was solid, strong and fresh. Owner even brought out a little treat for the dog. Nice touch. Didn't care much about the decor, but the beans did the job.

Ordered the chocolate creme cake for a group of 25. Light, not too sweet, and the decoration was really nice. Owner handled everything smoothly, no fuss. Cake was gone in minutes. Only thing is we had to book ahead a few days, but that's probably normal for a big order. Solid choice if you need a cake for an event.

We sat near the window, and the chairs were actually comfortable—not those wobbly ones you usually get. The owner came by to ask if everything was alright, which felt genuine. Octopus salad was fresh, pasta cooked right. Wine pairing worked well. Only thing, it got a bit warm inside as the evening went on. But I left feeling taken care of.

The pizza was decent — dough good, but the rest just average. Price was fair though. Maybe try the spaghetti frutti di mare instead.

The pasta here is homemade and you can tell—beef fillet was cooked properly too. What keeps me coming back is the wine list though. Asked for something bold and local, and the server nailed it. Paired beautifully with the meat. Only downside: place gets a bit loud later in the evening. Still, solid spot for a relaxed dinner.

Lunch here is solid. Got a curry with rice for about 12 euros, which is fair. Place was packed with South Asian folks, so you know it's legit. Food had good flavor, nothing fancy but tasty. Service was okay, not super fast but fine. I'd come back if I'm in the area and want a quick bite.

Stopped by for breakfast. Fresh bread and croissants were solid, eggs done right. Coffee had a good kick. Service was friendly enough, no complaints. Got a table by the window, cathedral view is a nice touch. Prices fair for what you get. Would sit there again if I'm in the area.

The margherita pizza had a proper thin crust, and the seafood pasta was solid. Service was quick, which I appreciate. Prices fair for what you get.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Place was clean, had that simple Italian look. Food was decent for the price, nothing fancy but fair. Service was quick enough, which I appreciated since I had limited time. Good spot if you're in the area and want a no-fuss meal.

Came here before a show. The improv was genuinely funny, good crowd energy. Food was okay, nothing special—my burger lacked seasoning. Took a while to get the bill too. Fine for a pre-theatre bite, just don't expect much from the kitchen.
