The lasagna was solid and easily enough for two. Cozy little place, though the appetizer plate felt pricey.

The terrace was nice and quiet, chicken skewers with grilled veggies tasted fresh. Aperol Spritz was well made too. Only thing—the waiter seemed a bit dismissive when I ordered. Not rude exactly, just not very interested. I'd still come back for the food though.

amazing vibessss and the food was sooo delicious! My parents are usually very picky about food but this place was absolutely scrumptious! We don't speak German and they were very accommodating. Would definitely be going back and if you're reading this, go go go! will not regret it

The vegetable biryani was decent—not quite like the Hyderabadi version I grew up with, but tasty enough. Staff were friendly. Just a heads-up: they have a €15 minimum for card payments.

Lovely restaurant, nice menu - focus on fewer dishes but with great quality. Friendly and attentive service and tables spaced pleasantly apart so you are not right next to other diners.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, making it a feast for the eyes as well. The cozy atmosphere of the older building adds to its charm.

Restaurant in Hotel Bayerischer Hof Munich

The pork knuckle was the standout. Crispy skin, tender inside, proper seasoning. Ate it with the potato dumplings and sauerkraut. Portion size is generous, maybe too much for one person. The schnitzel was decent too, though the breading could've been crunchier. Came here on a busy night, food still arrived quick. That's what matters.

The veggie options here are actually decent, which surprised me for Munich. Andrea at the front was super nice and made sure my dish came out the way I wanted. Solid spot.

The courtyard is lovely, that’s for sure. Burrata was creamy and the aragosta pasta had real flavor. Would’ve liked a better wine list to match, but the food carried it.

Stumbled in here after a long walk and it hit the spot. Traditional dishes done right, nothing fancy. The staff let us take our time with the menu. They had a decent local red that paired well with the roast pork. English menu was a plus. Bathrooms were clean, which is always a good sign.

The owners actually took time to explain the menu and spoke German with us. Pasta was fresh, you could tell it was made that morning. Simple place, but the food did the talking.

The lighting and seating here are what I remember most — comfortable chairs, not too cramped, and the room didn’t feel like a cafeteria. Had the fish dish, which was decent. Could’ve been slightly warmer, but the vibe made up for it. I’d sit at the window table again.

The filetpfanne and dumplings were solid, really hearty stuff. Watching the bartender tap a fresh wooden keg was a nice touch. Just don't expect fast service when it's full, we waited a bit.

Stumbled into this place near Marienplatz and ended up staying way longer than planned. The cocktail list is basically a book — pages and pages of stuff. Tried a few originals, all solid. Wood-paneled walls make it feel cozy, kind of old-school Munich. Not the cheapest, but you pay for the vibe. Good spot if you're tired of the touristy bars around.

The Schweinebraten was the reason I came and honestly it didn’t disappoint. Tender, juicy, that gravy just soaked into the dumplings perfectly. My friend got the Holzfellersteak and she barely talked while eating it, which says a lot. Service was a bit all over the place though, we waited a while for the bill. But for the food alone I’d probably come back.

The tuna steak was done properly, not overcooked like most places do it. Had good flavor too. Staff were friendly enough, didn't have to wait long for anything. Decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple. Probably won't blow you away but it does the job.

Pad Thai was solid, really flavorful, maybe just a touch salty for my taste. Would've loved a crisp Riesling to balance it out, but their drink list is pretty basic. Cozy spot though.

The all-day breakfast menu saved me—showed up around 2pm and still got eggs and pancakes. The back seating area is what I remember most though. Nice design, comfortable chairs, not too loud even when it filled up. Good spot if you want to sit and take your time. Food was fine, nothing crazy, but the space itself made it worth it.

We came here twice during our stay. Menu’s well put together, not too big, but covers most bases. Staff were solid both times—attentive without hovering. Food came out quick, which I appreciated. Portions are fair for the price. Nothing fancy, but it does the job. Wouldn’t mind going back if I’m in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Schnitzel was solid, came out fast which I appreciated. Place has that proper Bavarian feel, nothing fancy but real. Staff didn't hover, just got the job done. Menu's mostly meat though, so if you're not into that, options are thin. Fine for a quick bite if you're in the area.

Tried this place for the first time and honestly the pizza was solid. Got the margherita and the crust had that perfect chew. It's right by the lake so easy to find. Only thing is it got a bit busy around 7, but whatever. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

Falafel sandwich was solid — fresh veggies and that sauce really made it. Quick stop, didn't feel ripped off. Good enough for a casual catch-up with friends. 👍

Solid spot for a quick bite near the Isar. The currywurst and fries hit the spot, and the variety of sauces is a nice touch. Prices are fair for the quality.

Awesome taste and spices !TuNong never fails to satisfy the taste buds.they have a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. for me the Thai and Vietnamese dishes are the best..

Solid Greek spot in Munich. Big portions, fair prices. Place gets busy but that's part of the vibe. Good for a quick lunch if you're in the area.

The schnitzel was huge, easily enough for two. Augustiner on tap was spot on. Fair prices for the portion size, though I wished for a few more veggie sides.

Came here on a friend's recommendation and honestly the currywurst was the highlight. My friend said it's the best she's ever had and honestly I can see why. Place was packed with locals when we got there, so definitely book ahead if you can. Only downside was we waited a bit for a table, but the food made up for it.

The way they handle guests here is something else. You can tell they actually care, not just going through the motions. My pasta had this unexpected citrus note that caught me off guard, in a good way. Felt like a proper Italian place that respects the food. I'll be back for sure.

Been coming here for years and it's still my go-to spot in the area. The beer garden is huge and always full of locals, which says enough. Food's been more consistent lately too.

Great burgers, no question. I had the classic cheeseburger and it was cooked properly, juicy, not dry. The staff actually knew the menu when I asked about sauces, which was a nice change. Portion size is solid for the price, you won't leave hungry. Place was busy but not chaotic. Good spot for a quick bite.
