We had dinner at Dara Serene on our first night in Koh Samui. On Steak Night the restaurant offers a range of beef steaks as well as chicken, salmon or tuna cooked on the bbq. Any steak order comes with access to the salad and soup bar, and steaks are plated with a large portion of roasted potatoes and other vegetables. This makes it good value for money. we watched the moon rise over the lagoon and enjoyed a serene and pleasant evening.

So nice visiting Cafe 69 again after being away from Samui for 12 years. Even more popular now, all tables were filled up and there was a second booking for most tables for second seating!Found some old favourites still on the menu and they tasted as phenomenal as we remembered. 12 years ago, it was just us on a couple holiday. Now, we are returning as a family of 5 and even our little people have a seal of approval. Which prompted us to make another booking on our last night.Massaman was as yummy as before but now with lamb shanks instead of duck! Huge portion serving so we did a doggy bag.
