We were I think the last people to leave the restaurant yet there was no sign of impatience from the wonderful staff. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It's cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. Shortly after Julia came to our table to inform us that jacket potatoes were unavailable and told us of our other options, which we reordered. Our meals arrived short after and we enjoyed our food.. First the staff on duty made us very welcome, and the service throughout was faultless. Both my daughter and myself chose from the daily lunch menu, and our choices for the main and dessert were excellent, and what a welcome change to have a real flavoursome main course.. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding.
