TheForkUserThe team designed a tasting menu for our group of 5. We experienced fish dishes, croquettas, pasta special and pork tacos. We felt like we were having a Michelin experience but nicer due to relaxed atmosphere and personable staff. Great food, value, service and great wine in a great location. Just fabulous!
TheForkUserExcellent food, wait service and atmosphere. Love, love, loved it!!! We will return and let other people know how lovely this restaurant is.
TheForkUserWhat a marvelous place! The staff are lovely, the food is exquisite, the setting is dreamy, and their shrimp rice was so utterly addictive that my wife could not stop eating it. All around a truly remarkable gem that we will never forget
TheForkUserElegant restaurant with friendly, efficient service. We were impressed with everything we ordered; the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and married well with the chestnut puree. I loved the duck confit - tender and perfectly seasoned (not salty), the orange reduction cutting the richness of the bean puree. Generous portion of gambas Al alho. However, the cast iron dish in which it was served was cold so that the gambas meat was warm inside but the shell was cold. I was expecting the dish to be piping hot with stronger garlic flavor.
TheForkUserFood is excellent. Best ever seen after a long time. Cosy place. Service is very good. Nothing to say than to reccomend this place!!!!!
TheForkUserThis was our second dinner at El Mosquito and there will definitely be a third next time we visit Vigo. Great food and wine pairing.
TheForkUserWe enjoyed the regional food. I particularly enjoyed the locally produced Cachena beef. The waiters were friendly and attentive.
TheForkUserMy wife is Brasilian and could not stop raving about her meal. Said she felt like she was back eating at her grandmothers table. As someone who is not as versed in the cuisine I still really enjoyed my meal and we all agreed we would go back again in a heart beat.
TheForkUserWe arrived (party of 5) for the last resevation spot at 10:30pm... after a warm welcome, we noticed that everyone in Silabario team was like it was the first spot: fresh looking, smiling and happy for being serving us!!! Coming from Caribbean (Dominican Rep) we really appreciate this attitude, because announces that great things follows... and we was 100% correct!! After being seated in a very comfortable table, with a great view of huge Christmas light decoration in streets of Vigo nearby... the Chef & Owner Alberto Gonzalez Prelcic gave us the welcome and all explanations about the menu options and of course , the formal protocol about allergies, we start making jokes with him, in a very candid conversation!About the wine, main food and desserts, all was simply fantastic, (another partner of the table will write about the food!) and with continuous bread to cleanse the palate after each of the dishes, we have a night of great flavors, textures and presentations with amazing team!!
TheForkUserA lovely place for a meal! The employees were nice and really quick with the service. Would totally recommend!
TheForkUserGreat dishes, based on local food and cooked with modern techniques.Good atmosphere, mainly thanks to the nice waiter. Reccomended if you want to try something different
TheForkUserStaff were great but the food lacked flavour. The cerviche needed coriander and lemon grass over the passion fruit and paprika appeared too often throughout. The location is great as is the decor, with a little more love for the food, this place could be a goldmine. We will try again.
TheForkUserThis family restaurant lies very close to the river, and is was lovely to get there.Though it might be a bit pricy, we enjoyed the service and the patience dealing with our orders, and the food was amazing! The grilled whole fish was one of the best fish we ate in the area. Would definitely recommend.
TheForkUserFirst visit to Vigo where we came across El Temporal, a small restaurant near the coastal area. Sitting outside in pleasantly warm surroundings we thoroughly enjoyed a meal of tapas including pork, scallops and tuna. Absolutely excellent.
TheForkUserwonderful views and food ¡¡¡ price was ok and the restaurant is very nice. Restaurant is in a castle with views of the valley.. Fodd is wonderful, Portuguese meat of excellent quality.
TheForkUserWe had a brilliant experience. Good food super delicious beer. And the staff is vibe.
TheForkUserFantastic service, beautiful restaurant . Best seafood I’ve ever had.Great location and friendly staff, not cheap but well worth the money, will come again
