Popped in on a Thursday. The live music was a nice touch, just a guy with a guitar. Made the after-work drink feel a bit more relaxed. Service was quick.

Love the quirky old building, feels like a cosy hideaway. Had the roast beef and pork dinners, portions were just right. Dessert was a bit smaller than the menu made it seem, but still tasty. A nice spot for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Popped in for the Sunday quiz night. The questions were a good mix, not too easy or hard. Kept things moving nicely. For the £5 entry, you get a decent few hours of entertainment. Felt like good value for a cheap night out.

Friday afternoon stop for a drink and some tapas. Gin and tonic was well-made. The patatas bravas were fresh and the portion was just right for a solo visit. Service was prompt, which I appreciate. A solid spot for a quick bite.

Had a nice evening here. The staff were really patient while we figured out what to order, and had a good sense of humour. The food was pretty decent too. Just a bit on the pricey side, but fine for a treat.

Lovely modern room, spotlessly clean. The shower was great. Breakfast was cooked to order and really hit the spot. A very comfortable stay.

The staff were just lovely. Our server had a real knack for making you feel looked after without being overbearing. A nice touch was how they remembered we'd asked about the wine list earlier.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Service was fast and efficient, got my order out in no time. The place has a good vibe, modern and not too loud. Perfect for when you just need to grab a bite and get back to it.

Popped in for lunch, the menu looked good and the food was lovely. Jerry was a great host, really friendly and made it a nice, relaxed visit.

This place is a proper hidden gem. Loved the steak wrap, it was a great meal. The space feels really cosy and unpretentious, perfect for a casual drink with friends.

Live music on the weekend really made the vibe. The landlady was super friendly, and the drinks didn't break the bank. Just a nice, easy spot for a pint.

The QR ordering made breakfast super quick before our day out.

The asparagus risotto was the standout. You could really taste the freshness of the asparagus, and the texture was spot on. The roast that followed was good, though I found the gravy a touch salty for my taste. A solid Sunday option for those who appreciate good ingredients.

The rooms are a good size and the beds are really comfy! Perfect for a group of friends. The ensuite showers are fantastic. My room's extractor fan was a bit noisy, but it didn't spoil the stay.

Lunch stop. Staff were super friendly and quick, which was a relief with a hungry kid in tow. They even sorted out a little extra cheese on his pasta without any fuss. Made the whole thing easy.

Service was quick even when busy. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Lovely food, but it's the little play area out back that really made it for us. The kids were so content, we could actually relax and enjoy our meal. A rare treat for a family dinner out.

Nice place for a quiet drink. The snooker table is a nice touch, and the staff are very friendly. It's comfortable to just sit and relax.

A decent spot for a pint, and they're genuinely welcoming to dogs. Our terrier got a bowl of water without asking. The ale was pretty good, too. Just a bit crowded inside on a Sunday afternoon.

Popped in with my son to catch the match. The place was packed, but the vibe was really warm and welcoming. Staff were on it, got our drinks sorted quickly. A proper local spot.

Popped in for a quick pint. The beer list is solid – they had a local IPA that paired surprisingly well with the bar nuts. A bit pricey for the area, but I'd swing by again.

Lovely secluded beer garden out back. Perfect for a sunny afternoon pint. The inside's spacious too, plenty of seating. My lager was crisp and went down a treat with the salted nuts. A proper spot for a quiet drink.

Been coming here for years, and the steak pie is always spot on. Good portions, fair price.

The fish and chips were spot on! Honestly some of the best I've had. The vibe was just right for catching up with friends, not too loud so we could actually hear each other. The chips were perfectly crispy. A solid choice for a casual night out.

The Christmas set menu is a good deal at £30. The beef was so tender it just fell apart. My only note is that the seating was a bit cramped for a relaxed meal, but the service was very friendly.

Been here for a book club meet-up. It's a proper friendly local pub, good atmosphere. Just a bit loud with the music on, makes chatting a bit tricky. Still, a nice spot.

Got there a bit late, but the staff were really decent about it. Coffee was spot on. Place was packed but still felt relaxed.

Came in from the rain. It was so cosy in there. The staff were lovely to our dog, which really made a difference on a gloomy day. Just a warm, welcoming spot to dry off.
