_TI***4kMy daughter ordered Carne asada tacos based off of a photo from the menu. When she got the tacos it had watery lettuce on it. In the photo it had a lot of meat with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cilantro. When she picked up the taco, it just fell apart on the plate. When I said something to the waitress, she asked if I wanted to talk to the manager, I said yes, the manager came and I pointed to the picture on the menu and asked what do I need to order to get this taco. He said it was from the taco trio, these are just photos of tacos and the taco trio isn't on the menu.. but if you want it like this, you can tell your waitress to make it like this. She ordered the carne asada with beans and rice which comes with tacos and lettuce. I said, "Wouldn't it make sense to explain this in the menu?" He continued to make excuses about how she could have said something to the waitress before eating it. I was trying to point out the misleading menu but he continued to argue with me about it. I got frustrated because he wasn't listening to the issue. I finally said f%$# this, and told him to bring the bill and to take care of fixing the menu.. When he brought the bill, he said, "You disrespected me, you need to pay and leave. A simple issue with the menu and food served turned into a managerial conflict and confrontation. This happened on the evening of 5/3/24. The manager was not willing to listen to the issue and argued about how I should have known that the photos in the menu aren't something they serve. I have been going to this place for years, I will never go back as long as this manager is in charge. The one on Mooney is excellent, don't go downtown to wait 45 minutes for a table and then deal with an asshole manager.
