TheForkUserVery good pizza, well made with quality ingredients.Hygiene is the issue !!The staff making the pizzas, are touching raw ingredients as well as using the till, touching money , the telephone etc WITHOUT washing their hands between food preparation and running the pizzeria, this is not good practice.
TheForkUserThe food, wine and service was fantastic. A hidden gem in Clermont-Ferrand and highly recommended. You can create your own charcuterie board or pick from one of the list and add/modify as desired. Given our very average (mainly polite intro and thank you) they were happy to help with selecting from the wide selection of options. The wine options were plentiful and complimented the charcuterie boards well.
TheForkUserFood super lots of different tastes. Ambiance great and overall a very good dining experience Hosts were friendly and professional and enjoyed our evening
TheForkUserFine cuisine in an Art Deco hotel & restaurant - a great combination. I felt as though I was dining on board a luxury ocean liner of the same era. Thank you for being so kind to my dog too!
TheForkUserIt was a special celebration meal for us, and was made special. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere relaxed and the decor dramatic. The food from beginning to.end was creative, beautifully presented and each course an event in taste combinations. A hugecrange of wines. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserLove the experience at La Table de Thierry. The Chef is an excellent host and the food is impeccable. It’s a must dine experience to get a true taste of the local flavor and hospitality.
TheForkUserNice restaurant in the hotel. Good location when you’re travelling. Nice staff
TheForkUserA little jewel in the quiet centre of Clermont Ferrand. Véronique - le chef - rains in the kitchen where everything is cooked from scratch in the house. She uses one waiter - a very nice receptive lady — and their team is formidable! We ate today a pumpkin crumble, salmon and blanket de veau with fresh pasta and for desert: crème brûlée and drunk pear with salty caramel and black sesame ice-cream, To top up our experience today, we were offered a nice dry wine from… Auvergne and it was very goo with its gentle fruity notes. We spent for two with a 1/2 bottle of wine about €45. Wholehearted commendations!
TheForkUserLoved the food but we didn't get all we wanted as they were low on some ingredients. With a few improvements to the state of the restaurant and stock problems, Mama Africa could improve it's standing in that area.

TheForkUserGreat, simple restaurant with a great vibe. The waiters/waitresses were really nice, the food was excellent and I enjoyed the music in the background. The added bonus is that the terrace is in a tiny, quiet street so we could eat outside in complete peace :)
TheForkUserFriendly staff, very attentive to the needs of the customers. The restaurant is dedicated to the take away service, so the accomodation is basic and not very confortable. Burgers are delicious as the potatoes with the tasty cheese sauces. For some reason, they were not able to find my Fork reservation.
TheForkUserThis is a great restaurant of you like wine and cheese! We loved the wines and cheese combinations that they made… it a great place!!
TheForkUserWe were visiting my husband's mother, whom happens to live very near to La Chapelle Saint-Jean and so I took a chance and reserved a special birthday dinner for my husband and myself. We were EXTREMELY pleased with everything, from start to finish - it is truly a magnificent experience, cuisine, service and ambience was top-notch. We took the 5-course meal and I could barely finish, despite it was delicious - so, so good!!
TheForkUserBoth kids and my Mum loved it
