Stopped by for a quick coffee and a sandwich. Service was fast enough, and the coffee hit the spot. Food was decent too. Seats are comfortable, which matters to me. Nice little spot if you just want to sit and chat without being rushed.

Ask for the English menu at the bar—took a sec but they were helpful. Food was fresh, flavors came through well. Solid spot for a quick meal.

Tuna sandwich was solid. Big filling, bread held up well. Place is small but fine for a quick bite. Would stop by again if I'm back in Maastricht. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.

The cheese and meat platter was a solid match with their beer selection. Staff stayed friendly even when it got busy, which I appreciated.

Line moved quicker than expected for a Saturday night. Staff kept things organized and didn’t rush anyone. Solid spot if you’re nearby and don’t want to deal with a long wait. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The surprise dish for two is a nice way to sample a bunch of stuff without overthinking the menu. Food tasted fresh and pretty close to what I remember from Greece. The vibe inside helped too—warm lighting, not too loud, easy to just sit and take your time. Only thing is the portions felt a bit small for the price, but overall a decent spot.

Walked in without a booking and the staff still sorted us out. Salmon with potato gratin was proper good, ended up ordering another one. 👍

Been coming here for a while now, and the salads still get me every time. Huge portions, fresh, and they don't skimp on the dressing. Sat by the window overlooking the river this time, which was nice. Staff took the time to walk us through the menu in English, no rush at all. Place can get a bit busy around dinner, but it's consistent. That's why I keep going back.

The onion soup here is still as good as the first time I had it. Cozy spot with that black piano inside. Been coming back for a while now and it never disappoints.

Lovely little place with a fireplace and nice views from the terrace. Had the zuurvlees, pretty solid. Prices felt fair for what you get. Good spot to catch up with friends over a relaxed dinner. 🔥

The food was really good, but the meat came in thick slices that needed a proper steak knife. We did the set menu, so I can't say much about the rest.

The tuna salad sandwich on toasted baguette was fresh and well balanced. Sat right on the square, quick service too. Just wish the bread had a bit more crunch.

The tzatziki was thick, really garlicky, and came with proper chunks of homemade bread. Honestly could’ve just eaten that and left happy. Didn’t even finish my main plate. Maybe a bit too much dill for me, but still the best thing I had there.

The food was fresh and nicely plated, and our waiter was super friendly. Good spot for a casual catch-up with friends. Solid choice if you're in the area 👍

Stopped by this place in Epen while passing through. Staff helped me get my wheelchair up to the rooftop terrace without making a fuss. Had the steak, cooked properly, and the view over the village made it worth the stop. Only thing—service was a bit slow between courses, but they were busy. Solid spot if you're in the area.

The chef’s oysters were the highlight—so fresh and full of flavor. We grabbed a table with friends and ended up chatting with the hostess, who was super warm and funny. Would come back just for that vibe. 🦪

Tasting menu was solid, each plate had something interesting going on. Wine pairings matched well. Bit pricey but worth it for the experience.

I’ve been here maybe five times now and the food’s always solid. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot. The staff are friendly too, which helps. It’s become my go-to in Hasselt when I can’t decide where to eat. Just wish the tables weren’t so close together when it’s busy. Still, a comfortable spot overall.

Went for the set menu, mainly for the gratin oysters. They were properly done, not overcooked. The warm seafood platter was decent, but honestly the sabayon dessert stole the show—freshly whipped, light, just the right sweetness. Service was attentive without hovering. Only tiny thing: the pace felt a bit rushed between courses. Would've liked a breather.

Lobster and steak for the three-course menu was pretty solid. Dessert rounded it off nicely. Service kept things moving without hovering. For the price, felt like a fair deal. Place was a bit busy but that didn't bother me much.

Stumbled onto this place right on the main square. Grabbed a sunny afternoon beer on the terrace and honestly didn't want to leave. Menu's got everything from breakfast to dinner, so you could easily stay for hours. Service was a bit slow when it got busy, but the view made up for it.

Right on the Grand Place, terrace is perfect for just sitting and watching people go by. Had a beer and something to eat, both were fine. Service was a bit short but nothing crazy. Prices are what you'd expect for the location.

Came around 6 without a booking, got seated right away. Place filled up quick after though. Had the pasta, pretty solid. Nothing crazy but decent for the price. Service was fine, not too slow. Probably wouldn't queue for it, but if you're early it's a good shout.

The food was really good and the staff were nice. I liked how comfortable the seating was — easy to just sit and relax for a while.

Came for the venison and honestly it didn’t disappoint. Cooked just right, tender and full of flavour. Menu’s got a good range too, took me a while to decide. Staff were friendly, made the whole thing feel easy. Only thing is it got a bit busy later on, but that’s probably a good sign.

The truffle ravioli was really good — creamy, rich, just the right balance. I’m picky about pasta and this one didn’t disappoint. Sitting inside the castle added a nice touch, though it felt a bit quiet for my taste. Staff were friendly enough. I’d come back for that dish alone.

The grilled prawns were so good, seriously full of flavor. My friend had the lemon tuna and it looked amazing too. Staff spoke English which made things easy.

Stopped by for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned. The staff were friendly, even helped with the menu since my English is better than my Dutch. Food was solid—plenty of it, well-seasoned. Only downside, it gets warm inside once the grills are going. Not a dealbreaker though.

Stopped by for a milkshake and ended up staying a while. Place is full of old Americana stuff, kinda fun to look at. Food's obviously not made fresh but honestly fine for the price. Shake was the best part though.
