TheForkUserBest Indian in the Northern Rivers - I always stop by for my favourite Chicken Vindaloo whenever I'm in Lismore. The food is authentic Indian and served with a friendly smile. Don't be put off by the uninspiring frontage, step inside and treat yourself. Lunch special for $10 is a genuine bargain and the restaurant is licenced, with $6 Stone and Wood beers until 6pm. TheForkUserOur first time in Byron and The Forest didn’t disappoint one bit. We were 40minutes late to our dinner reservation and were still greeted and treated the best by all the staff members. The venue is very modern with a beautiful rustic twist to it after the sunsets. Never in my life have a wanted to drink wine… however, with the degustation menu we received paired wines with each meal. They all paired and went down amazingly well.
