TheForkUserLovely atmosphere in the restaurant and surrounding area, the food was good and the staff were very friendly and prices reasonable.
_TI***dpThe seafood soup was delicious, and the overall vibe of the restaurant is very inviting. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
_TI***kdWe had a wonderful dinner with a beautifully decorated set menu that was both tasty and reasonably priced. The friendly service made the experience even better. Definitely worth visiting earlier in the evening!
TheForkUserFabulous staff, food and wine really good. Can’t fault the venue and will be returning again during our break. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserExcellent food, good service. We particularly liked the baby squid amd tje skewer with shrimp and squid as well as the Alvarinho.
TheForkUserExcellent food. Absolutely delicious. The depth of flavour in the sauces was incredible. You wouldn’t know it existed as it’s a small place but absolutely worth a visit.
TheForkUserexcellent team of waiters, casual ambience, only ordered one main dish but it was fresh, wholesome, tasty and well presented. Would happily return/ recommend to others
TheForkUserA lovely meal again the food is excellent . The service is impeccable and the staff give great attention to detail, customer service & satisfaction. Cannot fault it
_TI***l3I highly recommend this restaurant for its exquisite cuisine and friendly service. The fish fillet was a highlight, and the dessert brownie was unforgettable.
TheForkUserWhat a fabulous place! Service was excellent and so welcoming, food amazing! Cannot believe or wasn’t full to the rafters as it certainly deserves to be. Go and try it, you will not be disappointed
TheForkUserWe were here for our anniversary and it was the perfect thing for our day. The view was gorgeous and the food was really nice, I even had the banana split although I don’t like bananas at all. The service was also good. They recognized that they were not that noticeable for us but made it up in the end and we were very happy that we decided to go here!
TheForkUserWow! I was worried looking at some google reviews, how wrong I was. Let me start by saying I am married to a Japanese, that we are true International foodies and often travelling to Japan obviously for the past 20yrs as a couple . We had the Kaiseki menu (degustation, 5-6 dishes for 88€) not only the food quality and tastes were amazing (as well as quantity), service was spotless, and the quality/price ratio is also quite good compared to another “premium” Asian (hotel) restaurant not very far that we tried the day before and left a little disappointed. The wine selection was also quite good and reasonably priced for a very nice Duro white wine. We agreed this meal was one of our top 10 Japanese restaurants experience ever, so we cannot recommend it enough. This is definitely a top Madeiran restaurant on the 16th floor of the Savoy Palace hotel so dressing accordingly is recommended to fully enjoy this very nice culinary experience.
TheForkUserThis place great exceeded our expectations. We had the filet and octopus and both were served with amazing sides and sauces. We’re only here for 5 nights and we will probably go back because we all enjoyed it so much.
TheForkUserLovely ambiance! Great in the evening, but go during the day to see the beautiful view. Vegetarian/vegan friendly menu available. Delicious food!
TheForkUserWe visit this restaurant every time we come to Madeira. It’s truly excellent. The food is exceptional, wonderful attentive service and it’s also very good value for money. It seems to be enjoyed by mainly local people( which tells you everything).
TheForkUserFriendly welcome, professional service including support in navigating the menu and wines, sublime food textures, tastes and appearance
_TI***42The atmosphere here is fantastic, especially with live music enhancing the dining experience. The food is excellent, beautifully presented, and the service is impeccable and attentive without being intrusive.
_TI***nwThis place is a hidden gem in Funchal! The creative menu caters to various tastes, and even a fussy vegetarian would find something delightful.
TheForkUserFirst time at Theo’s today, where we enjoyed a well presented and tasty lunch, with great service. We will definitely be returning
TheForkUserBeautiful, quiet location in a residential area in Arco de Calheta. Great ocean view. Really well prepared food compared to most restaurants we visited during our stay om Madeira Island. Fair prices for the quality and rather large portions. We ended up dining here more than once. Would recommend!
TheForkUserThe sea urchin emulsion was amazing, great wine suggestion from the sommelier (Nat Cool) and a rum pairing for the dessert. Only downside was the bad acoustics in the restaurant, had to raise my voice for the conversation.
TheForkUserExtremely salty food. After being asked how it was I was honest and all the waiter done was turn the back and go back to the till area.Overall cheap, but awful flavour. We’ve requested a sangria and it didn’t even had any fruit.I’d avoid going here if you want a decent experience.
TheForkUserAlthough not easy to find, the food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming and the all female staff were really lovely.
TheForkUserThis restaurant was very classy with a delightful amusee bouche to start with I had tomato soup served over a poached egg from a current it was rich and fresh followed by the beef Wellington beautifully presented and for desert the falsetto creme brulee . The service was immaculate overseen by the delightful head waiter Manuel Santos. In short the best meal have had so far with a wine list to suit every taste and pocket.
_TI***l9Craving for seafood. Oh yes it’s one of the best seafood platter I have ever had. Alberto was so friendly and the flavour was amazing in food. Will definitely come back.
TheForkUserFirst impressions should not deter. It’s a lovely friendly restaurant with well cooked and well priced local food. Yes, it’s part of a shopping centre but looks out directly onto the ocean and is very clean and well presented. A simple menu done well. Would recommend booking.
TheForkUserA madeira pizza, I've eaten worse pizzas in Italy. Promoted.
_TI***gyWe enjoyed a lovely evening meal with garlicky limpets and octopus, paired with a nice glass of vino verde. The waiters were very entertaining!
TheForkUserSpecial dishes we wanted from menu online were only available to order in advance so left aftevr 2 half glasses of water for 3 50.
