The cannoli were actually fresh&mdash;shell still crunchy when I bit in. That&rsquo;s rare around here, most places fill them way ahead. Grabbed one with the pistachio filling, it wasn&rsquo;t overly sweet either. Quick stop, no fuss, just a solid pastry. Wouldn&rsquo;t mind going back for another one before I leave.

The Jack Daniel&#39;s Pie really stood out. Rich without being too sweet, and you can actually taste the whiskey in there. Grabbed a slice after wandering around the area, sat outside for a bit. Quiet spot, no rush. Wish the portion was a bit bigger for the price though. Still, that pie was something else.

Burger was solid. Fries though? Small portion for the price. Kinda left me wanting more. Good patty, decent bun, but the whole thing felt a bit light for what you pay. If you&#39;re really hungry, get a side or something.

The pastizzi here are the real deal. Crust flaked apart the second I bit in, proper buttery layers. Ricotta filling was still hot, well seasoned. A local swore these were the best in Malta and honestly I can&#39;t argue with that. Just wish they had more than one type left when I got there.

Cisk beer was cheap and the 90s/00s rock playlist made it a chill spot to hang. Didn&#39;t try the food but the drinks alone were fine for a casual night.

The crispy beef and crispy duck are the standouts here&mdash;lots of sauce, really flavourful. Steamed dim sum was nothing special, but anything with &quot;crispy&quot; in the name is a safe bet. I&rsquo;d skip the dumplings next time and just double up on the duck.

Owners were really thoughtful&mdash;packed us chocolates for the road and mentioned a discount for next time. Pretty good service, made us want to come back.

Pizza was solid&mdash;crispy base, fresh toppings. Free appetizers while you wait are a nice touch too. Place gets busy but worth it.
