TheForkUserTook my two Grandsons, for a lunchtime treat and what a treat it was. Food was absolutely delicious, possibly the best I have ever had there. Service was really good and lovely ambience - not too busy - very pleasant. Grandsons loved it too!

TheForkUserBeen to several places recently for lunch,non have been particularly good ,had a carvery last week in Ellesmere Port. I don't know how they had the nerve to serve it. I had been to the Toby Inn many years ago,and it was always excellent,so suggested we try it this week . It was absolutely marvellous. Could not fault it at all. We will be back next week for certain.Would definitely recommend to anyone.Excellent food,good service, sensibly priced.

The service was amazing and the food was even better. Not the cheapest afternoon tea we’ve had but it was all worth it for how much we all enjoyed it.

Portions were generous, desserts excellent and staff excellent. A few tweaks and the star rating would be higher.

The sirloin steak was cooked as requested and is certainly recommended. The real ale was well kept and tasted superb. We will be back.
