TheForkUserWe came to celebrate my partner's birthday. A party of 5. We were seated right away and had a delicious meal of starters and paella. We received the attention of several wait staff and made to feel welcome. Don't miss their cheesecake dessert.
TheForkUserThe lovely lady serving us was so friendly and welcoming that it really set the tone for the evening! The food was delicious, there were 7 mature ladies, and we all had various paellas which were excellent! The sangria is also highly recommended! We would definitely return!
TheForkUserSome of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever eaten. I was there early so was also able to speak to the chef! A must go for sushi fans.
TheForkUserExcellent service, good and ambiance is a cozy and welcoming place. While a simple menu, it is a refreshing alternative with creative options to enjoy.
TheForkUserHad high expectations - and they were amply fulfilled. Fold (Menu) delicious, exiting and still had several surprising moments in most positive terms. Wine menu had also several highlights, even if first dishes somewhat outdid the respective pairings. Service very professional and still welcoming Highly recommended.
TheForkUserGreat service, friendly and accommodating. Great food with fresh ingredients, nice wine list and good pace to the service. The garden seating is beautiful
_TI***boI had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect for a special celebration. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable evening.
TheForkUserWhenever I visit Barcelona with first time visitors going to Xiringuito Escriba is a must! I’ve tried several paellas, pan con tomat, bravas, and sangria and all have always been excellent!
TheForkUserWe were very warmly welcomed by the staff team, particularly the Ecuadorian waiter - he's just great - friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and good on the riojas! Atmosphere is friendly and upbeat, and we loved the Turkish plates and crockery. A great dining experience!
TheForkUserFabulous place to eat and watch the sun go down over the sea. The staff were so friendly and attentive, whilst the food was amazing. Such good value too.
TheForkUserVery warm place with a simple but well select decoration. Attention was a plus from the beginning until the end. Food delicious and presentation professional
TheForkUserWe have been going to Vivant for years and always enjoy the food and service. The duck breast is my favorite dish, but everything is really good, I also like the canelones, the filet, and the grilled vegetables. The tapas are also good. The space is nice and cozy with light background music, a great place for a date or to meet friends and have a conversation. Service is very good and they speak severa languages.
_TS***0kThis is one of the best meals we have had in BCN. We stay here for several weeks every year, so we have eaten at a lot of restaurants. The ambience is romantic, the service was great, and the food was perfection. They cook most things on fire. I had the duck; the BEST I have tasted in a restaurant. My husband had lamb chops. I am not a fan of lamb, but cooked over fire they were yummy. We had a plate of fire roasted veggies with romesco. One plate was enough for both of us. The tomato bread was so good. Then we ordered a desert to share. An apple pastry with cinnamon ice cream and fresh whipped cream. The best cinnamon ice cream antwhere. So wonderful. We also had a glass of red wine and it was so delicious we purchased a bottle of it to bring home. The prices are very good. This meal and wine would have been over $150 in USA.
TheForkUserExcellent food and presentation. It took some time for our service to start, but once our drink order was placed, our servers were really attentive . We travel frequently to Mexico and loved this meal!
TheForkUserEven before we went to dinner, I get a message from the manager confirming my booking. I asked if the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and I was told that they've created an accessible table for. The manager, Paul, was great because he was able to make my booking a little later and on arrival he greeted us. All the staff were very friendly and worked very well as a team. The food was really good. We had a great evening, so much so that we went back again another night. They were very nice and although there were no mocktails on the menu they adapted one of their cocktails for me. If we go back to Barcelona again, we will definitely go back to Gran Viana for a meal.
TheForkUserThe quality to price ratio is not as good as other comparable restaurants. Dinner for 3 with 2 steaks, 1 paella (for 2 as required portion), and a bottle of wine (no appetizers and no deserts) cost us 170 euros.
TheForkUserThe service was great as our waiter was amazing. Great English. The food was the best we have had during our stay. All reasonably priced for a city centre. The tapas ham and tomato bread and chocolate brownie a highlight. Would highly recommend and definitely deserves a great review.
TheForkUserAmazing food and service. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Great presentation and the food tasted wonderful.
TheForkUserSuperb food what a find! And amazing service. A tiny gem of a place we were made to feel at home and could have stayed longer if not jet lagged! Amazing veggie options - pizza, pasta and aubergine bake with the best focaccia we’ve ever had! Don’t hesitate to go here it’s small but perfectly formed ☺️
TheForkUserGood service and well prepared food in a very pleasant dinning area. The attention to detail extended to the very tasteful decor with blue and white wall paper and many nice details, don’t miss the WC. The tone is subdued and the music low so it is easy to carry a conversation. We took the elevator up and we’re a little concerned until we arrived at the entrance to the restaurant on the principal floor, we were greeted by nice stained glass and a pleasant ambiance We were here for Sunday lunch and the menu wasn’t very extensive, but it had enough to choose from. We had a couple of appetizers, two main courses, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine , plus some very good Galician bread that came with a tube of olive oil, for around one hundred euros for two people so it is not inexpensive, but it was worth it. I definitely would go back next time we are in Barcelona, there are so many other dishes I would like to try, specially the paella seems like that was a very popular dish.
TheForkUserWe had carpaccio, risotto, salmon and filet and all were really good. But there was a fight about who will have the last spoon of tiramisu, it was amazing. Highly recommended place for a nice dinner
TheForkUserCasual yet exciting dining experience. Menu showcases a variety of interesting dishes, all incredibly well-executed and presented.
TheForkUserWe chose a 55€ menu and it was excellent. The service is wonderful, such a nice crew. A very special ambient if you want to spend a great evening with your beloved one.
TheForkUserThe food and service were fantastic! The pork, sea bass, and cheesecake were highlights of our meal. The staff was very helpful, making sure we avoided nuts for our nut-allergic children. Orvay was our favorite restaurant in Barcelona!
TheForkUserBeing an Indian myself and visiting an Indian restaurant in another country is always hit and miss. However, Rasoi did not disappoint. The food was authentic and so flavoursome. The puri chat was exceptional. The Chilli Paneer was also really good. Service was great. The staff were very polite and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserIt was a real good moment, some plates amazed us , others were unsettling but whole of them were very interesting. I can only recommend. To top it of staff was real professional: you didn't feel them but always present when necessary.Atmosphere was also very good
