The food was decent for the price, but I wasn't too impressed with the bathroom. Could use a bit more attention to cleaning.

Stumbled into this little family spot near the center and honestly the pizza was the highlight. Wood-fired, proper char on the crust. Owner came by to chat and showed us the oven real quick, which was a nice touch. Tiramisu was solid too, not too sweet. Only thing is it got a bit busy later, but that's a good sign I guess.

The boulet à la liégeoise was solid, that sweet-savory sauce really does it. Hazelnut crème brûlée on the side, good call. Staff looked like they actually liked being there, which is always nice to see. Place was pretty busy but the vibe was fine. Maybe a bit loud by the end, but whatever.

Pina colada was solid, maybe the best I’ve found in Brussels so far. Staff were chill, place had a good buzz. Probably come back at some point.

The scamorza starter was really good, but my pappardelle was kinda meh—pasta overcooked and too much sauce. Service was great though. Maybe stick to starters if you go? 😅

The menu’s a bit pricey, but they run discounts often enough. Free appetizers get old after a while, but the mains and the wine list are solid. I usually stick to what I know here, and it hasn’t let me down. Good spot for a relaxed dinner without fuss.

The grilled fish was cooked just right, flaky and moist. They use fresh herbs, not dried, which made a big difference. Portion felt a bit small for the price, but the quality of the ingredients was solid. I'd come back for the lunch menu, seems like a better deal.

Stopped by for lunch and grabbed the handmade tortillas with the seasoned meat. That’s the real deal, properly flavored. Price felt fair for what you get. Service was friendly, nothing fancy, but fine. Place gets busy around noon, so don’t expect a quiet meal. I’d go back if I’m in the area.

The tasting menu had some really fresh, well-balanced dishes. Loved how the vegetables were handled. Wine pairing was nice too. A bit pricey for the portions, but the ingredients felt quality.

The surprise menu kept things interesting, and they even brought out the meat to show before cooking. Felt properly Italian inside.

Came for the Indian food, stayed for the Nepalese momos. The chicken tikka masala was rich and flavorful, and the mixed grill was a solid choice. The lassi was perfectly balanced, not too sweet.

Sushi boat for two was generous, and the sake pairing worked nicely. Cozy spot, though it gets busy.

Smoked duck and ribs were solid. Staff took time to explain the menu in English, which helped. Portions are big, come hungry.

The cod with mashed potatoes and cheese was spot on, really well cooked. Fish croquettes were decent too. Tripel Karmeliet on the side made it better.

Fresh sushi, fair price. Staff actually listened when I asked for no wasabi — didn’t make a fuss about it either. Place isn’t fancy but it doesn’t need to be. Solid spot if you’re nearby and want something quick. Service was friendly, not pushy.

The pastis list is genuinely impressive, I’ll give them that. My glass was poured generously, and the room felt properly old-school Brussels. Service was friendly enough, though I didn’t need much.

Kalypta is a hidden gem in Leuven with a vibrant atmosphere and great music. The food is not only tasty but also beautifully presented, making it a wonderful dining experience.

Big portions and pretty quick service. Nothing fancy but it worked well for our group. The pasta was decent, maybe slightly overpriced for what you get.

The tagliatelle salmon was the standout. Fish tasted properly fresh, pasta cooked right. Price felt fair for what you get. Service took a while but I didn't really care. I'd order that dish again.

Friendly service and a lovely terrace. Gluten-free options were plenty, mains a bit small though.

The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were so good, honestly the highlight of brunch. Staff was super friendly too. Portions are big for the price.

Stopped by for a burger close to Louiza. Got the spicy chicken one—charred on the outside but still juicy inside, which I liked. Chips with that secret sauce were a solid side. Prices felt fair for what you get. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

The biryani here is proper—spiced well and the portion actually fills you up. Nothing fancy, just solid halal Pakistani food in Brussels. I’d come back for that.

Cozy place with nice warm colors inside. Staff were friendly and patient even though we didn't speak much Dutch. Felt comfortable the whole time.

The owner let us in a few minutes early while we waited outside in the cold—that was a nice touch. Falafel was fresh, and the moutabal had good flavor. Portions were decent for what you pay. Pretty solid spot if you're in the area and want something quick.

The menu changes often, which I love. Food was inventive and well-prepared. Cozy interior, felt like a real local spot. Service knew their stuff and explained everything nicely.

We stopped in for the lunch set and honestly, it’s decent value for what you get. The food was solid, nothing fancy, but the service stood out—friendly and quick. Place was a bit busy but that’s a good sign. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.
