As a coeliac, I&#39;m always on the hunt. The gluten-free menu here is genuinely thoughtful - had the fish and chips, and the batter was spot on. A real find in Bristol.

The hot shellfish platter was a treat. The tempura prawns had a lovely, light batter. My only small note is the wine list is a bit limited, but what they do have is nice. A very comfortable spot for a relaxed meal.

A lovely place to sit and read. I finally tried their sea salt and thyme cookie stack - it&#39;s as good as everyone says. The sweet and salty mix is just right.

A lovely evening. The chef&rsquo;s passion really comes through in the dishes. The staff suggested a local cider that paired beautifully with the pork belly. Just a bit of a wait between courses, but the warmth made up for it. Will be back when in Bristol.

The late-night staff are so nice. Popped in for a quick bite after a long day and they were really welcoming. The lady who served us was lovely, made us feel right at home.
