TheForkUserThe food was excellent and made all the better by the companion.
TheForkUserOur dinner was superb. The starter was perfectly done asparagus salad without the poached egg as I requested. The main course was melt in your mouth white fish filet. And the strawberry lemon meringue creme was the most delicious dessert I have ever eaten. Chef Joffrey Morgallet and staff Léa and Robin provided incredible service and a meal to remember. The champagne from Pascal Cez was like a dream also. Thank you to the entire team!
TheForkUserToo much curry on all plates as decoration??
TheForkUserSadly we were all alone in this restaurant- the only one in the town that was open on a Monday evening. So the atmosphere was, inevitably, a bit sterile. But our waitress was delightful, and the food was good to excellent. The prawn starter was particularly good, with massive ‘gambas’. Local Cahors wine was also good - once it had warmed up a bit. A very pleasant way to spend a Monday night in February.
TheForkUserThis is lovely little family run restaurant serving quality rustic French cuisine. No frills but good ingredients well cooked and nicely presented. Service is extremely friendly and unhurried. We will definitely revisit next time we are in France. You’ve got to try the home made Baba au Rum!
TheForkUserThe restaurant is charming and pretty,The prices are moderate to expensive, but the food is fresh and super delicious1 think that the service was a bits!ow as there was only one young sweetwaitress (and from time to time a younggentleman helped her). The cheese nanis the best followed by the garlic one. Ifyou like mango try the lassi drink. Thethree sauces you get with the nan aretamarind which is sweetish and yummy, the mint chutney is so tasty and thenthere is a hot sauce for those who likethat! The rice with veg is great too & thebeef samosas are scrumptious. Thevegetalble briyani is divine, the tandoorichicken filets are amazing and thetandoori assortment is so tasty ( chickenpieces, chicken fillets, gamba and lamb). Highly recommended.
TheForkUserWe went on truffle market day and everyone was there for truffles. The truffle laden menu didn’t disappoint. Service was very friendly and there’s a quiet business like hum to the place. The food was exactly as described - well cooked, nicely presented and full of truffle. A good lunch of 3 courses for 2 with beers and a glass of wine plus coffee = €152 which given the ‘truffle with everything’ was good value
TheForkUserThis restaurant was soooooo refreshing so exciting and out of the box an absolute pleasure in every way. So exciting to meet a chef who is adventurous we can’t wait to come back ! Merci ????
TheForkUserDon’t give up trying to find the place if you, like us, chose to walk there. The food is wonderful, the portions are generous, the staff is a delight and the ambience is great.
TheForkUserAs a family of four, we had a very memorable and pleasant experience...also food was very fresh and tasty. Thank you to the friendly and attentive staff for making it a special day for us!
TheForkUserSuper nice local restaurant with authentic dishes and cozy as well as friendly atmosphere/service. All our dishes tasted very well.
TheForkUserWe ate at Shahi Dhaba on our recent visit to Toulouse. Our waiter was very helpful, and he spoke excellent English. The food was excellent, and the menu included an impressive choice of vegetarian options. I highly recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserThis place was a gem. The proprietor was friendly and ensured we were well taken care of. The Alsace menu was amazing, and the wine accompaniment was perfect. We ordered the Lutece Flammekueche and the Cordon Blue en Munster. Amazing, tres bien!
TheForkUserGreat food, Great atmosphere, great service from Yoanne. We will be back. The code fish was very tasty. So was the chicken from the dinner and a show menu.
TheForkUserPleasant surroundings, prompt & friendly service, first courses were fantastic, main course size quite small & chicken dish was lacking in taste. Dessert was average. Wines by the glass were lovely & pairing advice with food was perfect. We’ll return.
TheForkUserWe order pate de campagne, tartarte de beouf, filet de poulet sauce au bleu, chocolate fondant and pommes tarte. Every single dish is superb. The wait staff are very prompt and attentive.Price is very reasonable. The above dishes including a beer cost 44euros. Definitely worth a visit.
TheForkUserWe had a delicious and healthy meal with fresh local foods. The service was terrific, too. They make everything there. For dessert we had banoffee for the first time and it was delicious. The value is very reasonable. I would return in a heartbeat!
TheForkUserNice service! My friend mistakenly ordered carbonara without noticing there is pork in carbonara. Since she couldn’t eat pork due to her religion, the waiter changed for her to the other dish even her carbonara was served (but of course not eaten yet). The waiter was very nice, gentle and helpful.
TheForkUserGreat tasty food especially the grilled meat and equally zesty fresh salad plus nice range of drinks and love the mocktail and fresh juices
TheForkUserI had dinner here on New Year’s Eve with a set menu. The food was fantastic and the service exemplary. A lovely place away from the main tourist areas with lots of local people dining. Highly recommended.
