The owners are Japanese and you can really feel their dedication. The nigiri and specialty rolls are just so honest and well-made.

Small spot, mostly for takeout. But the flavors are legit! The spicy noodles had this amazing chili oil that was just the right kind of tingly. I ended up finishing the whole thing at the counter.

Open 24/7, huge plus. Grabbed some donuts super late last night. The place was surprisingly clean for that hour. The glazed one was just the right amount of sweet, totally hit the spot.

Service was responsive and efficient. Staff handled my menu questions and a couple of substitutions without any fuss. Exactly what I need for a business lunch.

The sourdough waffle was the star. That chewy, crispy texture with a hint of salt was spot on. Paired it with a dry Riesling, which cut through the richness nicely. A solid choice for brunch.

The pastries are so affordable here! I grabbed a couple of the custard buns to go and they were still warm. Perfect for a quick snack without spending too much.

The blueberry scone was the star for me. Really moist, packed with berries, and not dry at all. The Gangsta Wrap was solid, but that scone is what I'll remember. Perfect with a coffee.

Cozy spot with nice jazz nights. The oat milk iced latte is my go-to, and they have plenty of comfortable seating inside.

Been coming here for years, and the lox bagel is my go-to. The salmon is always fresh, never dry. They don't skimp on the cream cheese either. Not big on capers myself, but I just pick 'em off. It's a solid, reliable choice.
