I was a bit worried that the reviews were not especially good for this place. The fondue and wine list were excellent. I would definitely go back. Service was decent and acceptable.

Came for a special dinner. The fire in the rustic dining room was the best part. Cozy and warm. Made the whole evening.

Perfect for a quick bite after skiing. The food is solid, home-cooked style. Service was fast and friendly. Gets busy at night, so book ahead.

The coq au vin was the standout. Rich, deep flavor from the braising, and the chicken was fall-apart tender. The sauce had a nice balance, not too heavy. That's what I came for.

Negatives: the hostess was incredibly rude. She should be terminated as she has a very serious attitude problem. The waitress neglected our table and food was cold and mediocre. Foie Gras was the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. Tasted like it came from a grocery store. Kids meal tasted like it was re-heated from McDonald’s. Supposed to be a “nice restaurant,” but loud and unruly guests wearing t shirts, pajama pants, and literal slippers. Overall, very underwhelming experience. I’m incredulous at the positive reviews.Positives: the attentive bread service and sommelier.

Antoine was such a warm host, really made the evening. His energy is infectious, and he took the time to explain the specials without feeling rushed. A server like that just makes the whole vibe better.

Been coming here for years. The staff really know their stuff, especially with the beer menu. Makes it easy to order.
