I had a wonderful experience at this lovely pub/restaurant. The fish and chips were the best I&#39;ve had in months, and the mushroom and halloumi burger was equally impressive.

Came here for a quick lunch, honestly wasn&#39;t expecting much. Got the daily pasta special. For &pound;9.50, the portion was huge, I couldn&#39;t finish it all. Exactly what I needed.

Good choice of beers, and the live music was decent. I liked the vibe here - it&#39;s a proper spot for a pint and some tunes. The lighting was just right, not too bright.

The John Brodie is a fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and an extensive food menu. The staff are always accommodating and make you feel welcome, even bringing treats for our dog!

Nice spot to sit outside and watch the world go by on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor chairs were comfy, which made it easy to relax. Just a simple, pleasant place for a casual drink.

Love the vibe here! It&#39;s a cafe-bar with music, but feels totally unique. Perfect for catching up with friends over a drink. The playlist was spot on, not too loud to talk. Only thing is the seating is a bit snug, but we made it work.

The vintage jukebox is so cool! It actually takes old 50p coins and plays 80s hits. Gave it a go while waiting for our mains, felt like a fun little time capsule.
