The view from the beer garden is lovely, looking out over the Dee estuary. Great spot for a sunny afternoon pint.

Came for a birthday. The staff were spot on&mdash;attentive but not in your face. The owner&rsquo;s gesture of sharing his own birthday cake was a lovely touch. Paired it with a glass of their house red, which worked surprisingly well with the sweet sponge. A genuinely kind moment.
