Given the good track record I thought I would try a streak as they are an expensive meal and most of the time they are terrible. The Scotch was perfectly cooked full of flavour and the red wine jus was absolutely delicious. It's hard to find a place of this quality these days, well done Blackburn Hotel!

The staff, especially the young man who seated us and served our table is exemplary - we had the pleasure of his service at our last visit and he was excellent then as well. Great service and great food, it doesn't get much better.
