Stopped by for lunch after a walk around the area. The view over the hockey field is nice, not something you see every day. Food was solid, had the daily special and it hit the spot. The lady serving us was friendly and took her time explaining the menu. Place was a bit quiet but that's fine. Would come back if I'm in the neighbourhood.

Nice spot for a shisha and a drink. Food was decent too, nothing crazy but enjoyable. Good place to just hang out with friends for a while.

We stopped by for a quick dinner and honestly the staff made it. They brought out free ice cream for the kids and that just made everyone’s night. Food was solid too, nothing crazy but tasty. Place felt really welcoming, like they actually care. Would come back if we’re in the area again 😊

This restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and a diverse menu. The lamb steak was magnificent, and the dessert was pure magic!

No. 4 of Local Restaurants in Basel

Service was a bit brisk but the staff handled it fine. The wine picks were solid, matched what we ordered well. Seats were comfy enough to linger a little longer.

We stopped by for lunch and the staff was really nice about everything. We had a bigger group and they didn’t make it complicated at all. The food came out fresh and hot, which I appreciated. Only small thing, it got a bit busy around noon, but nothing stressful. I’d come back again if I’m in the area.

The schnitzel and rösti were really good—fresh and well-prepared. Menu's a bit small, but what they do, they do right. Service was a little slow, but I'd still come back for the food.

The lighting in there is just right—soft, warm, not that harsh bright stuff. We had the schnitzel and it was solid, crispy. Service was friendly without hovering. Only thing, the chairs are a bit hard, so don't plan on a super long sit. But for a relaxed dinner, it worked.

Came here on a whim and honestly the service caught me off guard—super quick, friendly staff. Place started filling up fast around 6:30 though. If you don’t book, get there early or you might wait. I didn’t plan ahead and barely made it in. 😅

Sushi was decent, not the most authentic I've had. Prices are fair, but service gets a bit scattered when it's busy. Still, solid spot for a quick bite.

The seasonal menu keeps me coming back—fresh ingredients, decent prices. Service stays efficient even when it’s packed. Just book ahead, it gets busy.

Solid Italian spot. The daily specials were good and the staff actually made us feel welcome. Place fills up fast though, so book a table before you go.

The L'Esquina burger is the only reason I keep coming back. Bun holds up, patty's properly seasoned, and the house iced tea cuts through the richness. Price is what you'd expect around here. Terrace is fine, but honestly, I'd eat this burger anywhere.

Food was decent and the staff were nice enough. Portions felt small for what they charge though. Kinda left still a bit hungry.

Service was really friendly and the food hit the spot without breaking the bank. I went with a couple of friends on a weekday evening, and we ended up staying way longer than planned just chatting. Place had a relaxed vibe, felt super comfortable. Only thing is it got a bit noisy later, but honestly didn't bother us much.

Nice spot right by the park. Had a beer and the pizza hit the spot after walking around. Service was quick too. Portion sizes were decent for the price.

The food is the real draw here. The presentation is beautiful, but it's the flavors that stick with you. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Good portion sizes for the price, too.

Stopped off the A35 for lunch. The place has such a royal vibe, perfect for a catch-up with friends. The food felt fancy but didn't break the bank at all. We lingered over dessert just chatting.

Been staying here for years. It's clean, the location is unbeatable for getting around town. The parking lot across the street is a lifesaver, never had an issue finding a spot.

The terrace is lovely. Their wine list has some interesting local options that paired well with our meal.

This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with exceptional fine cuisine and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal!

Cozy spot, felt like a friend's place. The inside is charming, with nice details in the decor. Had a simple pasta, the sauce was rich and tasted homemade. Good for a relaxed dinner.

Been here a few times. The food is good, honest stuff. You can see them cooking through the glass, which is nice. They use local things, you can taste it. It's a bit pricey for the neighborhood, but the place itself is solid.

The tasting menu really showed off local flavors — the beef cheek was the highlight for me. Staff let us take our time without hovering. Solid pick if you're after regional food.

We stopped by for dinner on a rainy evening. The dining room is really cozy, that warm country inn feel. I had the roasted vegetable plate, just wished there were a bit more greens on it. Ingredients tasted fresh, simple and clean. Prices are fair for the quality. Staff let us take our time, no rush at all. 🌿

The gourmet burger and fries were pretty good for a biergarten. They managed our group of 16 without any issues. Waiter was helpful and funny. Solid spot for a casual evening by the water.
