Came here with a couple friends after class and honestly it hit the spot. Got the döner and it was super filling, exactly what I needed. The 10% student discount is a nice bonus too, makes it feel way more affordable for Basel. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us while we were chatting. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again 😊

Been coming here for years and the sushi is always so fresh. I love how they present it, each piece looks like a little piece of art. Never had a bad bite.

Came by right at opening on a Friday and it got packed fast. Good to book ahead if you're coming later.

Been coming here for years. The salmon sashimi is always fresh. The mixed platter is good, you get a bit of everything including those charcoal-grilled skewers. A solid spot, especially if you're near the station.

Prices are fair for this neighborhood. Food quality is solid, and it's not as pricey as some spots around here.

The food was tasty and generous, with a real homey feel. Their wine list had some nice local options that paired well with the hearty dishes.

The owners are lovely and make you feel right at home. Food was fresh and tasty, portion size decent for the price. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Schnitzel was solid, properly breaded and not greasy. Portion size fair for the price. Service efficient without hovering. Terrace was calm, no traffic noise. Renovation looks fresh, tables spaced well. Good spot if you're in the area and want reliable German food. Would come back when nearby.

The grilled octopus was really good—crispy on the outside, tender inside. The dolmadakia tasted homemade too, like something a Greek grandmother would make. I appreciated that the service was friendly without hovering. Only small thing: the tables are a bit close together, so it felt a little cramped. But overall a pleasant, easy dinner.

Cozy little stube with great Rothaus beer 🍺 Service got a bit slow when it filled up, but perfect for hanging out with friends.

The pizza was solid — thin, crispy crust, fresh toppings. Bruschetta was good too. Prices run a bit high, but you can tell the ingredients are decent.

The jungle-themed decor really sets the mood—so cozy. Green curry was solid and portions generous. Service polite, though it got a bit crowded. Booking ahead is smart.

The chai latte here is seriously good—spiced just right, not too sweet. I grabbed a cardamom bun to go with it and that combo worked better than most wine pairings I've had lately. Place gets packed around midday, so go early if you want a seat. Coffee's solid too, but that chai's the reason I keep coming back.

Came here with my laptop on a rainy afternoon. Cappuccino was solid, not too strong. Place was quiet enough to actually get stuff done. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciated. Could've used a bit more light near the window seats, but fine overall. Good spot if you just want to sit and read for a while.

The terrace view of the Rhine is really something. We had the Ayurvedic lunch and it tasted fresh, though the seating felt a bit cramped.

The sushi here is really good—one of the better spots in Switzerland. Cozy place, and the staff were friendly. I only tried the takeout, but it was solid.

Loved the little library corner and those soft seats—perfect for killing an afternoon with a hot chocolate. Didn’t want to leave, honestly.

The shakshuka was the standout — rich, spicy, perfect with fresh bread. Brunch spread had plenty of options but honestly, that one dish was enough for me.

Lovely little traditional place, portions were really generous. Service felt personal without being overbearing. Wish I lived closer.

Finally, proper Italian gelato in Solothurn! You can really taste the quality in every scoop. Hidden gem for sure.

The fried wontons and crispy beef were solid—that beef had a nice crunch without being greasy. Portions are huge, easily enough for two people. Price felt fair for what you get.

The hummus and falafel were really good, and the owner made us feel welcome. Just a heads up, it’s tiny so you need to book ahead.

Tried the beetroot burger with truffle mayo fries. Pretty solid actually. The patty held together well, not mushy like some veggie burgers. Fries were decent too, though a bit salty for my taste. Place was busy around lunchtime. Got my food quick enough. Wouldn't mind coming back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for a quick bite around noon. Got the brunch plate, decent portion for the price. Place was busy but they got me in and out fast enough. Staff didn't rush me though, which was nice. High chairs available if you've got little ones. Modern look inside, nothing fancy but comfortable. Solid spot if you're short on time.

Been coming here for a while now. Location’s super convenient, parking never a hassle. Rooms stay clean and warm, which I appreciate. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for around here. Staff still remember me, that’s something. Solid choice if you’re in the area and don’t wanna deal with surprises.

Steak tartare and entrecôte were solid. Café de Paris sauce did the job. Service friendly but a bit slow. Decent spot if you're nearby.

Maria and Sarah were so warm and attentive—honestly made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. Just wish we’d had a bit more time to linger.
