Melina and Sasha knew their wine list inside out—pairings were spot on. Probably the best meal we had in Basel, honestly. Just wish the tables weren't packed so close together.

The meat here is really something else—tender, flavorful, you can tell they know what they're doing. Salads and bread were fresh too, not an afterthought. Portions are solid for the price. Place was packed, line out the door, but they kept things moving fast. Only downside: they ran out of meat by 10 PM, so go early or you're out of luck.

The Diavolo cordon bleu really stood out. Breading was crispy without being greasy, and the cheese filling actually oozed out properly. I've had a lot of these and this one's up there. Only thing is the place got busy fast, so grab a seat early. Would come back just for that dish though.

Came here with a couple friends after class and honestly it hit the spot. Got the döner and it was super filling, exactly what I needed. The 10% student discount is a nice bonus too, makes it feel way more affordable for Basel. Staff were friendly, didn't rush us while we were chatting. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area again 😊

The grilled octopus was really good—crispy on the outside, tender inside. The dolmadakia tasted homemade too, like something a Greek grandmother would make. I appreciated that the service was friendly without hovering. Only small thing: the tables are a bit close together, so it felt a little cramped. But overall a pleasant, easy dinner.

Cozy little stube with great Rothaus beer 🍺 Service got a bit slow when it filled up, but perfect for hanging out with friends.

The pizza was solid — thin, crispy crust, fresh toppings. Bruschetta was good too. Prices run a bit high, but you can tell the ingredients are decent.

Came here with my laptop on a rainy afternoon. Cappuccino was solid, not too strong. Place was quiet enough to actually get stuff done. Staff left me alone mostly, which I appreciated. Could've used a bit more light near the window seats, but fine overall. Good spot if you just want to sit and read for a while.

Loved the little library corner and those soft seats—perfect for killing an afternoon with a hot chocolate. Didn’t want to leave, honestly.

Finally, proper Italian gelato in Solothurn! You can really taste the quality in every scoop. Hidden gem for sure.

Been coming here for a while now. Location’s super convenient, parking never a hassle. Rooms stay clean and warm, which I appreciate. Yeah, it’s not cheap, but honestly, you get what you pay for around here. Staff still remember me, that’s something. Solid choice if you’re in the area and don’t wanna deal with surprises.

Maria and Sarah were so warm and attentive—honestly made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. Just wish we’d had a bit more time to linger.

The grilled fish was really well done — crispy skin, juicy inside. Staff kept checking if we needed anything, which I appreciated since it got busy later. The wooden interior gives it a cozy, local feel. Only thing is the tables are a bit close together, but that's pretty normal for this area.

The staff was really friendly and spoke English well, which made things easy. Sitting in that old building added a nice touch to breakfast.

The cappuccino here is consistently good—creamy, not too hot, just right. Service stays quick even when it’s busy. That’s why I keep coming back.

The lunch special keeps me coming back. That daily pasta, the sauce just right, not too heavy. A solid, reliable plate. I'm here most days because it's just consistently good.

The staff remembered my usual order. That kind of consistency keeps me loyal. Service was quick even during the lunch rush.

Decent spot for a casual dinner. Food was solid and prices fair. Service polite, nothing exceptional but no complaints either.

Been coming here for a while now. The vegetarian options are consistent, which is honestly why I keep going back. Staff remembers me, that's a nice touch. Place gets busy around noon but they're quick. One of the few spots in the center where I can grab a decent meal without it being a whole production.

The ArliBrau was really good, went down smooth with my meal. Food prices are fair, but the drinks will get you. Nice that they brew their own beer though.

The food reminded me a lot of my trip to China—pretty authentic and well done. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. But the seating felt cramped, tables really close to each other. Ambiance could use a refresh, felt a bit old-fashioned. Still, if you're after proper flavors, it does the job.

Nice spot for a quick breakfast. The coffee was solid and the cake selection looked good. Really like that they run an inclusive workplace here, adds something meaningful. Would come back if I'm in the area.

Juci at the counter was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Solid little spot to grab a quick bite before catching a movie.

Solid sandwiches, gluten-free cake was a nice find. Terrace is small but fine. Staff left us alone mostly, which I liked. Prices are okay for the area. Nothing fancy, just a decent spot for a quick bite.

Food was solid — that spicy tofu really hit the spot. Place was chill, not too crowded on a weekday. Service fine, nothing crazy. Would come back if I'm in the area.
