The Gassho-zukuri decor is lovely. I really appreciated how fresh and crisp the vegetables in my meal were.

Reservations are a bit tricky, but worth it for that fresh yellowtail. Just keep an eye on their socials for updates!

Grilled yellowtail with salt was crispy outside, tender inside. The crab rice in a wooden box was also good.

The Toyama Bay Sushi set was my first time trying white shrimp from that region. It was so fresh and sweet, definitely the highlight. The seasoned fish soup alongside it was warm and comforting.

Been here a few times. The seafood's always fresh, like you'd want in Kanazawa. Tried a couple of their small plates last night. The grilled fish was simple but good. Sake list is decent.

The grilled blackthroat seaperch was the star, cooked just right. They even packed the leftover sea urchin rice into cute onigiri for me to take home. Nice touch.

We got seated super fast even on a busy night! The staff was really on it, and we were grilling our own meat in minutes. Perfect for catching up with friends without a long wait. 😊

Stumbled upon this place and tried local Kanazawa dishes. The menu with photos online was super helpful for ordering.

Came here for a lazy afternoon tea. The three-tiered set was fun to explore—loved the little sandwiches, and the French toast on the side was a total highlight, so fluffy! ☕️ A really chill spot to unwind.

A long-standing spot, and the owner’s dedication to keeping the flavor consistent is impressive.

Came here with the family. Portions are huge, prices are fair. Everyone got full without breaking the bank. Good for a casual group meal.

Impressive international cheese and cigar selection. The whiskey and spirits range is also very good.

A very peaceful spot on a lovely street. The tables are nicely spaced, which I really appreciated. It made for a relaxed and comfortable lunch. The service was polite and unintrusive.

The soft serve with gold leaf is good. The ice cream base uses Silkie chicken eggs, giving it a really interesting flavor.

The curry udon here is a must-order. The noodles have a perfect, chewy texture that I really enjoyed. The broth is rich and full of flavor, not too heavy. It's easy to see why it's so popular.

The sea urchin was the highlight. No fishy taste, just a really rich, creamy texture. The grilled blackthroat seaperch was also huge and perfectly fatty. That's what I come here for.

The fries here are a real treat. They're always perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. I find myself ordering them every time. The staff is friendly and the seating is comfortable, which makes for a relaxed meal.

A nice spot in the Higashi Chaya District. I really liked the part where you smell the three roasted teas before picking one.

A nice, quiet spot for lunch. The service was quick and pleasant, which I really appreciate. It does get busy around noon, but tables turn over quickly. I was seated comfortably without a wait.

The pork okonomiyaki was quite nice, but the counter stools were a bit too high for me. I found myself shifting to get comfortable. The squid one was tasty too, though I think I liked the beef a little more.

Loved the vibe here! The place looks so chic but still feels laid-back. We stayed for ages just chatting and never felt rushed. Perfect for a long catch-up with friends.

Pricey for Kanazawa, but the snow crab and Kaga veg tempura were so fresh and well-made. You can taste the quality in every bite. For that level, the cost felt fair.

The Hanton rice with fried shrimp was a nice local find. The ketchup base was surprisingly light, and it paired well with a crisp local beer.

Charcoal-grilled chicken thigh was my pick. Good flavor, cooked just right. Came out fast too, which is what I needed. Perfect for a quick lunch stop.

The Kaga Bancha tea was nice, served in a little iron pot. Flavor was decent. Had the seasonal cherry blossom cheesecake with it, which was moist and not overly sweet. A pretty good pairing.

The Ageha Gozen set is 1800 yen. The fatty tuna just melts. You get to pick your seafood bun flavor, which is a nice little touch.

The curry was rich and creamy, just how I like it. The pork cutlet stayed wonderfully crispy. The portion was very generous, so I left feeling quite satisfied. The booth seating was comfortable and private, which made for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years. Their European-style curry is the reason. It’s got this gentle spice, never too much. Just the right flavor every single time. That’s what keeps me coming back.
