The sushi was good, but the real star was the sake pairing. The chef suggested a junmai daiginjo that had this crisp, clean finish. It just clicked with the fatty tuna. Made the whole meal more interesting. A bit pricey for the pour, but worth it for the experience.

The staff was so kind when I was ordering, very helpful. I also noticed some cute anime decorations in the window, which was a nice touch. A pleasant, simple spot.

The game meat here is exceptional, especially the venison and wild boar. The wine pairings enhance the dining experience, making it a delightful choice for meat lovers.

The sake pairing was a nice surprise. Each glass matched the course really well, especially with the grilled fish. A bit pricey, but it made the meal.

Found this spot in Higashi Chaya. The counter seats are the best part—you get to watch the chef prepare everything right in front of you. It’s a cool way to see the care that goes into each dish.

Stumbled upon this spot wandering the Higashi Chaya District. The oden's seafood broth was so rich and warming, really hit the spot on a chilly afternoon. Just a cozy, simple place to pause and warm up.

Solid lunch spot near the office. The set menu is good value for the portion size. Service was prompt, which is key for a business lunch. Food was tasty, nothing fancy but reliable.

Solid oden spot. The radish and boiled egg in the broth are good. Finished with ochazuke, which was a nice, light way to end. Simple and efficient for a quick business dinner.

Booked the tatami room for our year-end party. The five-piece sashimi and grilled salted yellowtail were fresh. Sake list was extensive, which was the main draw for us. A solid spot for Hokuriku fish and drinks.

Been coming here for years. The main cook always makes an effort to chat in English, which is nice.

Tried the marinated fish head for the first time here. It was surprisingly good, with a nice balance of savory and tangy. The portion was huge, definitely enough for two.

The private room setup is great for group dinners! The removable walls are a nice touch.
