The nabe curry udon was spot on. That thick Kanazawa-style curry had real depth. The udon was perfectly chewy. I added cheese and mochi, which worked well. Owner was friendly. My only note is the wine list is quite short, but the beer went fine with the rich curry.

The Kanazawa-style oden is good, especially the seasonal hairy crab. The crab noodles were a nice touch.

The Manly Skirt Steak was a solid lunch. Big portion, good flavor for what you pay.

The place is definitely older, but they keep it really clean. I noticed the shared bathrooms were spotless, which is always a plus.

A bit of a hike to get here, but the view from the terrace is so nice for a long chat with friends. We shared a few small plates and just relaxed. The walk back down was much easier!

This Japanese restaurant inside Hotel Allore offers a fantastic dining experience with a variety of traditional dishes. The sashimi and kamameshi were particularly delicious, showcasing the seasonal and local flavors beautifully.

I had an amazing dinner here! The quality of the food was top-notch, especially the seasonal ingredients like Hotaru Ika. The staff were warm and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Cozy little place run by a nice couple. The food was fresh and tasted pretty authentic. They were patient with my limited Japanese, which was appreciated. A solid, quiet spot for a simple meal.

Tried the daily special sashimi set. The tandoori chicken main was a nice change from the usual. Quick service, got my order fast. Good for a quick lunch.

The courses really highlighted the local ingredients. The quiet townhouse setting was a nice touch.

Definitely a must-visit for seafood lovers! The multiple courses were delightful, and the staff provided excellent service, making the whole experience enjoyable.

Tried the set course at Kinjoro's more casual spot. The presentation was really nice, and the pacing between dishes felt just right. A solid, relaxed way to get a taste of their style.

The buffet at Hotel New Otani offers a fantastic variety of dishes, including delicious pasta and a great selection of breads. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, making it perfect for a casual lunch.

The beer was really refreshing on a hot day. We had the grilled chicken and a pasta dish, both were decent. A solid spot for a casual lunch. The service was a bit slow, but it was fine.

Been coming here for years. Their coffee is consistently good, and the chiffon cake is always so soft and fresh. Just a solid, reliable spot for a simple coffee break.
