KongBarNelHad a great evening at One White Street. The service was outstanding, and they gave me a perfect seat at the bar with a great view of the chefs in action. I started with a salad that was incredibly fresh and flavorful, full of green beans, cherry tomatoes, and cucumbers sourced from the restaurant’s own farm. For my main, I went with their much-hyped burger since it was my first time here—and wow, did it deliver. So beefy and juicy, and the Stilton just took it over the top. Definitely one of the best burgers in the city. Finished with the fig tart, which was an outstanding way to end the meal. Overall, a fantastic dinner. I’ll definitely be back.Essential by Christophe

Portion sizes felt unbalanced and somewhat too large - by the time we got to the soba noodle main dish I was so full I couldn't finish it, not to mention dessert. Good (but somewhat cold) service, next to us was a loud group celebrating a birthday and the service seemed more focused on them. Hard to reserve, but reservations are far more obtainable for lunch seating.Francie

KongBarNelService was friendly and personal, somehow both low-key and refined at the same time. I was dining alone, which sometimes can feel odd, but the staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome, with just the right balance of friendly, casual interaction and leaving me to enjoy/absorb the dishes. They were incredibly skilled at this, it must be a cultivated vibe, and it’s a good one. The playlist was great -I wasn’t expecting Joy Division and the Cure, but somehow it was perfect.
