TheForkUserAs a returning client, I was expecting an experience which no longer seems to exist. The current methodology of proposing a pompus “surprise” menu is just a means for the restaurant to serve you economically and to their own convenience, using an opaque pricing model where you have no idea what you are getting for your money. The dishes were small and lacked any kind of personality and the “meat dish” on the verge of an insult. This was a restaurant we used to really enjoy, but unfortunately won’t be returning to. Shame.

TheForkUserService was friendly and attentive, but a bit slow at the beginning (on the other side we arrived at the same as many other people).We went there for "la chasse", the "selle de chevreuil" was excellent and served in two rounds, which had different presentations and side vegetables, very nice.The room was a bit noisy and got very warm during the dinner.

TheForkUserWe have enjoyed this restaurant for almost 30 years and the current owner is great. However, the volume and choice of music was a bit too loud and distracting. The pop songs played did not fit with a wonderful dinner nor the atmosphere. My suggestion is to play soffer & slower jazz or classical music or no music at all.

TheForkUserI had experienced this restaurant before so I invited 2 lady friends for dinner there. All was excellent and appreciated, except one thing that I had also experienced on my previous visit : the portions are a bit too limited. The only one who had enough and felt satiated was the 20 years old very yslim girl. Her mother ate her portion down to the last grain and I am sure she would have appreciated a larger serving in her plate. I ended my meal still hungy ! I did not complain to the server but I left no tip. If the server had bothered to ask if all was well with our meal - at the end of the meal - I would have certainly coplained the portios are a bit small and stingy for a normal male and onyl ust enough for a normal female.Next time, I shall actually mention this detail right upfront, at the time of ordering.
