Loved the personality of our host, the fun room, but MOST of all, absolutely delicious food.Our res was for 11:30 a.m. Sunday as we hadn't had breakfast. Taken downstairs to the cool dining room with touches of Reunion, Mauritius, Rodrigues, and Madagascar.We shared an appy of beef Sambos, then had Massalé Pork & Coconut chicken as mains, complimented with beer.Had never had Madagascar Sambos before: outstanding - little pockets of a light dough (something like phyllo) with a delicious beef center and served with a SPICEY dip! The mains both came with perfectly cooked rice, a side of black beans. We always share dishes - this time? BOTH of us were sure we'd gotten the "winner" dish. Can't wait to come back to Nice & try this place again!La Merenda
