_TI***crI was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the excellent value for money. The tiramisu is a must-try, definitely one of the best I've had!
TheForkUsernice little restaurant, shabby chic style (maybe a little bit too much). Almost empty when I went with a friend for dinner (a May Sunday) so very quiet, except for ambient music which could have been a bit quieter. The service is very good and the food is excellent and very well presented. Too pricey, though.
TheForkUserNice atmosphere in green surroundings, food of high quality, excellent welcoming staff. Service a bit slow in peak time. Would definitely visit again!
TheForkUserFriendly service and great food! We had a calzone and the seafood linguine - both very tasty and great portion sizes. Cheap wine was so cheap but enjoyable - definately recommend for tasty, cheap prices! Not a fancy place but a refreshing change for over-priced, average food in Venice.
_TI***8oAs a Michelin-starred restaurant, Venissa lives up to its reputation with a menu that surprises and delights. The wine pairings, while unique, could benefit from more explanation to enhance the overall experience.
_TI***rqThis restaurant offers a stylish ambience with great food and wine, making it a true pleasure to dine here.
_TI***beThis pizzeria offers excellent pizzas that are easily digestible and well-cooked, making it a must-visit for pizza lovers.
TheForkUserThis restaurant was recommended by our hotel (Hotel Tiziano) and was a great find! Close, quiet residential neighborhood, great food, friendly service. Prices were reasonable as well. Definitely recommend!
TheForkUserExcellent food. Good choice. Really efficient and friendly service. There was a good buzz, not overpowered by music. I left my wallet - they called to let me know they had it. It was good of them but having experienced the restaurant, I wasn't surprised they acted in this way.
_TI***k4The atmosphere in this restaurant is warm and family-friendly, perfect for a cozy meal. The service is outstanding, and you can tell the staff genuinely cares about providing a great dining experience.
TheForkUserWe had a very nice dinner, fish is the best choice, the Gran Fritto is tasty but also light ! It is particularly pleasant to eat outside.
TheForkUserThis was a ver pleasant surprise. The food was good and at a very reasonable price. We also want to appreciate the service. The girl serving was super friendly and professional. This is a very good option to eat Italian food and spend an amazing time.
TheForkUserThe girls serving spoke excellent English and helped greatly with recommendations.Food was delicious and the steak I had was cooked to perfection.
TheForkUserThe food was absolutely delicious – each dish was crafted with authentic flavors and presented beautifully. The service was fast and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a great meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving genuine Italian cuisine with top-notch service. Can’t wait to return!
TheForkUserBeautiful setting and great food! We are staying on the beach and were longing for something more authentic compared to the beach tourist restaurants. It was well worth the 20 min drive, we had great steak and truffle pastas. The tiramisu was made with cantuccini, a great idea!
_TI***p2This restaurant offers a fantastic authentic Italian experience with delicious homemade food. The ravioli ai funghi and lasagna della mamma are particularly noteworthy!
_TI***nvThe outdoor setting of this restaurant is lovely, providing a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food, and the house wine is excellent.
TheForkUserWe were following the recommendation of a famous Berlin costume designer, who stays at the hotel when in Venice. The restaurant is unique, a kind of Orangerie from 1900 with 1950s art on the walls. We felt far removed from the tourist industry and well ensconced in the favorite haunt of insiders.
TheForkUserThe menu had few chooses, description was scarse and confusing, which made me return my dish: although I confirmed with the waiter to have my sea bass grilled, I received a sea bass in a salt jacket... I was told that the fish thus "dressed up" was prepared on a grill... I was brought few minutes later another one, if not the same one, slightly grilled. My husband and my daughter had to generously add salt and pepper to their dishes - venetian liver and tagliatelle with porcini - in an attempt to improve taste. The experience was disappointing, although the staff was very friendly and considerate.
TheForkUserThe food was exquisite and rich, we got to enjoy plenty of additional chef’s treats apart from our ordered dishes. Actually everything we received was awesome. A great experience.
TheForkUserWe dined outside due to no air conditioning inside the restaurant. It was comfortable under the umbrellas. The pizzas were extremely good, but the tiramisu was a little disappointing. I would however return.
TheForkUserWe had an amazing Christmas lunch here. Two of us tried the special menu - all of it outstanding, and the wine was included. The third member of our party tried a number of the a la carte vegetarian options - also delicious. The decor and setting is truly exceptional, overlooking the grand canal. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserMy forth trip to Venice and 2nd dinner at Madonna and once again it was superb. The service was excellent, our waiter suggested a new wine which we loved and our group enjoyed a wide selection of fish and seafood all prepared to perfection. Definitely our best meal over four days in Venice and we will always go back and refer it to friends.
_TI***bfWe found this gem in Venice and were thrilled with the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The lasagna and mussels were particularly noteworthy!
