The staff were really helpful when I asked about customising my burger. They remade it without any fuss, which was a nice touch.

The Sunday roast was spot on. Yorkshire pudding was crisp, the cauliflower cheese had a good bite. The real highlight was the house red they suggested - a nice, earthy Pinot Noir that cut through the richness perfectly. Solid value for the quality.

That lamb curry was something else. The spices were so fragrant and the meat just fell apart. Honestly, it's ruined other curries for me now. The whole place had a really nice, relaxed vibe too.

Their granary sandwiches are a real winner. The bread is thick and nutty, and they pack it with fillings. Had the tuna and coleslaw today – really hit the spot.

Popped in for a quick bite while shopping. The chicken and avocado sandwich was fresh, really hit the spot. Coffee was decent too. Just a bit cramped inside when it gets busy, but fine for a short stop.

The breakfast stack was hot and fresh, just right. But honestly, the best bit was the quiet morning light through the window. Felt like a proper pause before the day really began.

If you're around, definitely stop by. The warm chicken salad is a proper salad, loads of fresh stuff in there. The space itself is really nice, feels relaxed and the booths are super comfy.

Grabbed a quick lunch from the takeaway counter. The speed was impressive – order to food in hand in maybe 30 seconds. My burger was still hot and well-made. Picked up a craft lager to go with it, which hit the spot. A solid option for a fast, decent bite.

had an excellent takeaway of Chicken Tikka Dansak, Mushroom Rice, saag paneer, Onion Bhajis, Peshwari Naan. definitely recommend.

Loved the menu here! So many things I'd never seen before. We ended up ordering a few weird and wonderful dishes to share. It was a fun way to try something different with friends, and sparked loads of chat about the flavours. A nice change from the usual takeaway options.

The portion for one is really generous, I couldn't finish it all. I appreciated that the vegetables in my dish were fresh and crisp, not overcooked. It felt like a proper, wholesome meal.

Lovely old-school vibe, took me right back. The lamb curry was spot on, but the real star was the house red they suggested with it. A bit pricey, but that pairing made the night.

The Sunday roast is a proper, local affair. The beef was spot on, and the generous jug of gravy was a nice touch. My only gripe? The wine list felt a bit limited for a roast of this calibre. Still, a solid choice for a lazy Sunday.

Came with a group of six friends and they pulled a table together for us so quickly! The vibe was really lively, perfect for a long lunch catch-up. The fish and chips were spot on. A bit of a wait for the bill, but we were having a good time anyway.

Really appreciate the generous portions here. The fish and chips were perfectly crispy, and the side salad was actually fresh, not just an afterthought. It's nice to find a pub that doesn't skimp on the greens. Felt like a proper, filling meal.

The tiramisu was really good. Light, not too sweet. The place was packed but our server was quick and kept things moving. Solid spot for a casual dessert.

Prices here are a pleasant surprise! The Penang beef was spot on, rich and tender. Didn't expect such a solid Thai menu tucked in a classic pub. Portions are generous for what you pay.

The burger was the main thing for me. Juicy patty, cheese melted just right. The bun held up well, not soggy. That's what I come for.

The burger was the real deal. Juicy patty, soft bun, the works. Exactly what I needed after a long ride.

Vegan burger here. Honestly, one of the better plant-based ones I've had. Even compared to other chains. Patty had a decent texture, not mushy. Solid fast-food option.

The egg fried rice here is the star. Each grain is separate, with a subtle wok hei aroma. The egg is just set, not rubbery. It's simple, but they've got the technique down.

Spacious two-floor layout, really clean. Grabbed a burger downtown, the patty was juicy and cooked just right. A solid spot for a straightforward meal.

Love that the menu changes so often here. Had a fantastic lamb stew last time, and it was something completely different this visit. Always keeps things interesting. The owners are super friendly too.

The lamb shank was cooked perfectly, just fell off the bone. The sauce had a deep, rich flavour that went really well with the mash. Good portion size for the price.

Really liked the brunch menu here, it's got more interesting options than the usual. The gluten-free section is actually decent. The outdoor seating area is nice and relaxed, perfect for bringing the dog along.
