Love the vibe here. It's got that proper pub feel, warm and lived-in. The staff were just lovely, made us feel right at home.

I have been coming to The Packe Arms for years. The service, food and atmosphere is always top notch. This time I had Beetroot Arancini on a bed of rainbow cousous, classic fish and chips (super fresh, chunky fish and crispy batter) and the mini pud and hot drink combo which is a great idea if you haven't got room for a full sized pudding. The new range of alcohol free drinks are also great. I had elderflower and mint.

The hanging kebab is the star here. Cooked just right, really juicy and packed with flavour. We ordered one to share and it was plenty. A solid choice.

Great spot to bring the dog. They even have a special menu for them, which is a nice touch. Food came out fast too.

The grilled octopus is the only thing I ever order here. It's got a proper char, tender inside, not rubbery at all. Served with a lemony herb oil that cuts through perfectly. Honestly, I don't even look at the rest of the menu.

The staff are always polite, and the food is consistently good. I like that the wine list has a few interesting local options to pair with the mains. A reliable spot for a solid meal.

The pepper soup here is the real deal, packed with heat and flavour. The jollof rice had that perfect smoky depth you don't often find. Portions are huge, I couldn't finish mine. A solid spot for proper Afro-Caribbean cooking.

Came here with a big group of mates. Staff were really chill about it, handled the whole table without any fuss. Made it easy for everyone to just relax and enjoy. Good vibes.

Lovely little pub. The warm, low lighting and worn wooden tables just felt right. Had a quiet pint there last night, and it was exactly the kind of cosy spot I needed.

The steak was the highlight. Quality was on par with what you'd find at the city's top-end places. Service was efficient and professional. A solid choice for a business dinner.

The fillet steak was cooked exactly how I like it, really tender. The dynamite shrimp starter had a nice kick to it. A solid meal.

The build-your-own bowl setup is a neat idea. I liked browsing all the topping options and putting together exactly what I wanted—felt like a proper custom lunch.

The chicken tikka masala here has a really good depth of flavour. The sauce is rich and creamy, not too sweet. The meat was tender, though a couple of pieces were a touch dry. That's the main thing I come for.

The buffet's order-as-you-go system is smart. Keeps things fresh and cuts down on waste. Staff were on it, checking if we wanted more.

Popped in for a quick breakfast while on the road. The food was solid and the price was right. Staff were quick and friendly. My only note is that the coffee was a bit weak, but the fresh orange juice was a perfect morning pick-me-up.

The sandwiches are fresh and flavourful, but it's the staff that make it. They're just so attentive and genuinely warm. You feel properly looked after, not just served. That kind of welcome is really nice.

Found this spot while looking for gluten-free options. Their gluten-free club panini was really good, and the Billionaire's slice was a crowd-pleaser. Took a piece of the cornflake tart away with me - so tasty!

Quick lunch stop. Sandwiches were fresh, pork pies had great pastry. Service was friendly, bill was fine. Got me in and out fast. 👍

Been coming here for years now. It’s the portion size that keeps me coming back—always generous, always consistent. You just know what you’re getting. A solid spot.

Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh. The hot chocolate is a hit with kids. Scones come out warm, which is nice. Place is always clean and tidy.

A proper pub with a proper pub feel. The outdoor seating is a lifesaver when it's packed inside, makes it so much more relaxed. We tried the chicken burrito and a couple of the curries, all very tasty. Just a really comfortable spot for a casual meal.

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal out with friends or family.

The staff were really friendly. We had a small mix-up with our order, but they sorted it out quickly and with a smile. It was a nice, easy lunch. The service made it a pleasant visit.

Good spot in the centre. The open kitchen in the middle is cool, you can watch them cook. Had the steak. Cooked just right. Bit pricey for what it is though.

The pizza was spot on - thin, crisp base, really fresh. Service was quick, no fuss. Cookies were a nice touch, still warm. Just a bit pricey for what it is, but you can tell they care about the basics.

Took a team of 15 here for a work dinner. They handled our big group so well, service was actually smoother than when I've been with just a few people. The hot pot was a real highlight.

The duck and plum sauce bento was the star for me. The sauce had this deep, tangy-sweet flavour that went so well with the really tender meat. Rice was spot on too. Just a really solid, tasty lunch.

Decent spot for a quick lunch. The place is much bigger than it looks from outside, so never had to wait for a table. Got the beef noodle soup - came out fast and hit the spot. Good for when you're in a rush.

The sizzler arrived properly sizzling this time, which was a relief. The whole place just feels more relaxed than other spots, you can actually have a conversation without shouting.

Nice spot for families. The staff were really friendly with the kids, which helped a lot. The beer garden is a big plus, gives everyone some space. Portions are decent for the price, we didn't leave hungry.
