The lamb on the bone was the standout. The meat was so tender it fell right off, and the flavour was deep, really savoury. The portion was generous too. The Gona fish curry was also good, but the lamb was the one I kept thinking about.

Staff were really nice. We had our baby with us and they were super helpful, even found a quieter spot for us. Made the whole thing way less stressful.

Been coming here for years. Their fish and chips are the best around, no contest. Portion's generous for the price. Batter's always crisp, fish is fresh. Just a solid local chippy.

Always hits the spot after a night out. The portions are generous and the food's always piping hot.

Decent dessert spot near the mall. The menu's huge, so maybe check it online first. Parking's easy.

The chocolate orange brownie was so fresh and rich, I had to get another one to take home. They had a few different flavours, but that one was my favourite.

The veggie afternoon tea was lovely, and the prosecco was a perfect pairing. The spinach fritter 'burger' was a standout. A nice touch for a celebration.

The grilled pork with sticky rice was pretty good, and the somtum tasted authentic. Decent value for the city centre. The place was a bit loud, but overall a fine spot for a quick meal.

Been coming here for years. The vintage decor and soft music haven't changed a bit, which is exactly why I keep coming back. It's just a reliably cozy spot for a quiet cuppa.

Parking was easy enough nearby. The road outside was pretty busy though. Just a short walk from our hotel, which was handy.

The takeaway burger still had that just-grilled taste. Juicy patty, crisp lettuce, the works. Impressive for a boxed meal.

The gluten-free pasta was cooked separately, which I appreciated. It had a nice al dente texture, and the sauce was rich without being heavy. A solid option for anyone with dietary needs.

A group of us went for the 'Rock & Roll' night. The entertainer was excellent if a bit to loud. The food was pretty good. the prawn cocktail sauce was rather watery but the prawns were fine. The serving of pate was very generous but the bread was like concrete. I think it had started life as a sourdough baguette, been re-warmed then allowed to go cold.We were very pleased with the main course being served with separate dishes of potatoes and vegetables so you could choose what you wanted and how much. Our table all had the salmon which was lovely. The sweets were all good as well.A grand night was had by all.

Coffee was solid, and it's a good £1-£1.50 less than the places nearby. Just a simple, decent cup without the fancy price tag.

Been coming here for years. It's always just the right kind of quiet after a long walk, never too crowded. That's what keeps me coming back. The space feels open and modern, but still cosy enough to properly unwind.

Black pepper steak was spot on. Quick service, got my set meal in no time. Portions are decent for a lunch break. Just what I needed.

Gave the new pizza a go. The base was fresh, had a nice crisp to it. A solid choice if you fancy a change from the usual menu items.

The mango and rose falooda were so refreshing! Loved how cold and flavourful they were. The aloo paratha was soft and quite filling, perfect for a light bite. Really appreciated the fresh ingredients.

As an ex-barista, I can say their oat cappuccino is spot on. Perfect for a relaxed catch-up with friends.

Loved the halloumi and souvlaki from their Greek tapas menu. The place has a really nice, relaxed vibe.

The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning. The wedding breakfast (Spanish style tapas) was delicious, and everyone had a fantastic time.

Been coming here for years. Tried the quesadilla this time, on a server's tip. Much better than it used to be, flavours were spot on. Place is always tidy.

Ben was our server, and he was on his second day. He was really confident and attentive. His wine recommendations were spot on, which made the whole evening.

A real gem. The creamy chicken curry was spot on, rich and flavourful. What really stood out was the wine list – found a lovely Spanish white that cut through the richness perfectly. Staff were friendly, no complaints there. A solid dinner.

The Neapolitan pizza is lovely, with a light, airy crust that's just the right amount of crispy. You can taste the fresh ingredients. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made for a relaxed meal.

Love the clean, modern vibe here. It’s the perfect little break from shopping at Fosse Park. Just a really nice, calm spot to sit for a bit.

Been coming here for years. Rin and Maurice still take the time to walk you through the menu, just like they always have. That personal touch, it's why I keep coming back. Feels like visiting old friends.

Great spot for a quick bite with colleagues. The sharing platter was the star, loads to pick from. Service was fast and friendly. Got in and out in under an hour, perfect for a midweek catch-up.

The crust here is really something else. It’s light, airy, and has that proper char. The spicy sausage is spot on. Just a really solid pizza.
