TheForkUserOur first time to Trieste and we wanted to have a nice dinner as a couple with the ambience of the sea view….. we made reservations for 7 30. Little did we know it was a stormy night but it surely wasn’t stormy at Pier of the Roof! We were 29 minutes early and they were kind enough to sit us early. We had a table with a beautiful view of the sea. It was such a calming effect like the beauty of the decor inside. The staff was so attentive to our every question and especially the manager Alice and her amazing man and woman combo of servers. Our apologies for not remembering there names. Our dinner was the most freshest seafood we have ever tasted! We felt we were family at Alice’s home with her family instead of patrons at a restaurant! We highly recommend this restaurant not only for the freshest and tasty food but also for the View, Ambience, Price and the amazing staff! We will be back rain or shine!Kjpca
